Buylateral 2 Drawer Bradley Filing Cabinet

These cabinets come in dozens of pieces, but the manufacturer does not include assembly instructions! I also could not find them anywhere online. DON'T order these unless you're a master carpenter. I called customer service, and they contacted the manufacturer. The manufacturer is SUPPOSED to email me a pdf of the assembly instructions. We'll see! My other alternative is to try to shove all the pieces and packing material back into the box, heave them into my car, and take them back to the store while praying I don't hurt myself (I'm a petite senior woman). Be warned!

Great quality, sturdy, and easy to assemble. Handles seem a little low quality but they work well.

It's a great product but we had issues with parts not being in the shipment.

The 2 door cabinet fills our need but was a challenge to assemble! need better directions and diagrams. !

The file cabinet is exactly what I was looking for. Something to compliment the other furniture in the house. It’s a very stylish piece and has plenty of room for all my files and other important papers. I put a lamp on it and looks more like a night stand than a file cabinet, which is great. I highly recommend this file cabinet.

Disliked Trying To Separate Rails. Everything Was Packaged Good, But Instructions Are Not Exactly Clear On how To Separate Rails. I Spent Over an Hour Trying To figure Out How To Separate And Even Than I'm Not Sure of Its Right Because Photos Show The Bigger Piece Should Be On Its Own To Attach To Sides Of Cabinet Wall. Only Dealing With it Because price Was Right

I am happy I decided to purchase this filing cabinet! I was a bit wary since I read other reviews about it being difficult to assemble and folders not fitting but I decided to give it a chance and I’m so happy I did because I love the style of it! My fiancé assembled it together and we didn’t have any issues. Took around an hour or so? Not bad at all! Also, we got hanging folders that fit it. I made sure to measure the placement of the bars. The hanging folders I got that fit it were from Office Max’s Pendaflex SureHook Folders. They fit perfectly! Overall, very happy with my purchase!

Bought this file cabinet since every metal cabinet that is shipped to me has arrived dented/damaged. This product came neatly packaged and all parts arrived undamaged. Assembly is required (no power tools). It’s a very nice file cabinet disguised to look like furniture. The instructions are fairly easy to comprehend and the assembly took me just under 2 hours. There are a lot of screws, so don’t rush and screw them in sloppily. Otherwise the parts may not align/balance properly. Overall, I’m very happy with the final product!

This is a good file cabinet for a home office with moderate filing requirements. You shouldn't stuff too much into it ... the metal rails look a little flimsy ... but it should be adequate for a lot of purposes.

Cheap CRAP! The listing does nothing to mention that it comes in more than 100 pieces that need to be assembled by a PhD in Engineering. WHAT GARBAGE! I would give it a lower rating if I could.

After reading the reviews about awful instructions I was hesitant about purchasing this file cabinet. Since it was on sale I decided to try my luck. I don't know if they updated the instructions but I found them to be clear & easy to follow. All the parts were clearly labeled, including the bags of hardware. I assembled the cabinet in little over an hour. I was very surprised by the finished product. It looks & feels more expensive than what I paid for it. I have no complaints & I would definitely purchase it again.

Love this filing cabinet. At this price point you can't do better. Looks like a nice piece of furniture vs a metal cabinet. Drawers pull out completely so you can access files the files in the back easily. It was easy to assemble. Highly recommend it.

Great cabinet. Took a while to put together. The instructions aren’t the clearest and you have to just figure it out but very happy with end result.

I was looking for a filing cabinet that fit under and existing desk and this (without the legs) was perfect. It is made of composite wood and is not the easiest thing to assemble per the instructions. It takes some thought. It is sturdy and well-made for the price. I love how the drawers fully extend and the rack for the files is built-in. My only complaint is that my drawers did not match up perfectly once assembled. They’re off by about 1/8 of an inch. Other than that, great product.

This filing cabinet is okay. Was not terribly hard to put together, but I left the back of the cabinet off since I did not have the patience for that many screws and no pre-drilled screw holes. Agree with reviewers who have commented on the standard hanging files not being wide enough.

The unit arrived rather quickly which I was very pleased. Unfortunately, I found the instructions lacking in clarity. I have put together many furniture and was able to get it going. For a novice furniture builder this would have tough. The issue I had was the side walls. I received 2 left or 2 rights sides. I contacted the email address to get the parts resent so I could finish building the file cabinet. That took almost 2 weeks to receive. I was not pleased having to wait so long. My office was in disarray for that time. Once I received the parts, the cam bolts and screws had to be removed from the wrong part to mover over to the right part. Getting cam bolts out is not an easy trick nor is removing 8 tiny screws and placing 8 tiny screws to the right part. You think the replacement parts could have come with the hardware too. Once finished, I was pleased. The hanging folders work OK with the unit if you do not slide on one side only. Since it is a round round rather than an indented flat rod, care must be taken on moving the folders around.

Takes a while to put together, and has a plastc chemical smell that stunk up the whole room for a week.

I actually love this file cabinet. I looked all over town for a local one I could just purchase. I had no luck finding a reasonably priced small one so decided to take a chance on this one. I too (like some others) had trouble trying to separate the drawer slides to screw them in. There were no instructions how to get them apart and I didn't want to force it. I reluctently had to have my son-in-law come over to give me a hand. He knew how to separate them (little latch on back side) and did so easily. I wish the instructions told you how. He got the whole thing put together for me in about an hour with a little glitch. He had the sides upside down but found out as soon as he tried to put drawers in. Took it apart, turned it around and voila! Nice, heavy cabinet, drawers slide smooth, came with no scratches and all parts needed. I would recomend this to anyone looking for a small, inexpensive cabinet.

I have put together products that had better directions-why don't you attach the drawer rollers the way some flat pack furniture mfrs do?
