Beautiful color, but it feels heavy and greasy in my lips.

Absolutely love the color and it dries to a mat for me so I'm unsure why it is labeled as lip gloss. Immediately after I applied at my lip started to burn and I thought maybe it was a plumping lipstick. In my research, I find out this is a common problem with this. Sadly, I'm going to have to throw this out.

I received a free sample of this from Ulta. I put a little on my hand, and thought it was strange that it had NO shine to it, but the color was pretty. so I put it on my lips. The burn is terrible. Why is this product still on the website for sale???

This lipstick claims to be "high shine" but it does not have any shine to it, it's matte, the worst thing is that it burns your lips, the product info says it's "hydrating and nourishing" but IT IS NOT!!

Immediately had to run to the bathroom to wipe off because it burned so badly. I have a cold wet towel on my lips as I type to ease the prickly burn.

Just like everyone else here I fell in love with the free sample. Went to buy full size and put it on my lips…doesnt feel or look the same. It feels like I'm putting Elmer's glue on my lips. Really disappointing, and returning today. I tried to ignore the reviews, but i messed up. Dont be stubborn and make the same mistake as me!

I got this for free after I spent a certain about and I tried it on and the first thing I noticed was that it BURNS??!! For a second I thought this was a lip plumping but when I realized, I took that thing out from my lips. Horrible honestly. Please don't get it if you love yourself

It burns! I only had the lipstick on for maybe a minute and my lips still burn even after taking it off.

If you like MATTE lipstick then you'll like this. I was tricked by the "high-shine" in the title. There is nothing shiny about this, it's just a matte liquid lip.

It's a very pretty shade will definitely recommend to a friend

i have never left a review, but felt compelled to after trying this product. just like the other reviews, this lipstick is not shiny, it's matte, and it burns when you apply it. i thought i was going crazy until i read these reviews!

Pretty finish, nice and glossy. Only downside, it is not long-lasting color. It comes off the moment I eat or drink anything.

Not lacquer, more light paste. I returned it.

From the reviews I see im the odd man out. I love this, i love that it mattes. I felt a slight burning but just for a second. I will definitely be buying more and in a different color. It lasted all day long.

I received the small capsule shaped container of the "High Shine Liquid Lipstick" as well. It was part of a promotion. I received an orange make-up bag filled with Ulta sample size product, all in neutral colors. I LOVE this! In fact I was trying to find it to reorder! After reading 73 reviews, I am scared!! I too had the burning sensation but I assumed it contained the lip plumper. It is very pigmented and it dries very matte. I cannot begin to tell you how many complements I have receive each time I wear it. I did find it very, very drying, I just chalked it up to winter time in Michigan. I am sad to not be able to wear it. I hope for all of our sake it doesn't contain some sort of toxic ingredients. Maybe the product was put in the wrong tube? I am only grasping at straws because the "Ulta Beauty Collection Lip Lacquer High Shine Liquid Lipstick" container does not look anything like the tube this questionable product came in.

I should have read the reviews before using the sample of this product I received for purchasing Ulta cosmetics. It immediately started to burn and caused my lips to turn red and swell a little. I will not use this product ever again!

I thought maybe it was just me who had an uncomfortable burning sensation when I applied this but so did nearly everyone else who reviewed it. It's not glossy as advertised. It's giving 2016 kyle dry crunchy matte lips.

Got this as a part of free makeup kit after spending a certain amount of money. Do NOT spend your money on this. This shouldn't be anywhere but your trash can. High shine? It is anything but shiny. Upon application it was dry and akin to a terrible matte lipstick from the 2000s. It quickly started pilling and clumping around the corners of my mouth. I only had it on for maybe a minute and my lips felt like all moisture was drawn out. Most importantly and concerningly, just seconds after spreading on my lips, they started tingling?? This product is not advertised as having plumping proterties, so why in the world should this product cause tingling. Judging by all of the reviews, this product is horrible. I am disappointed in Ulta for selling a product that is not at all as described and causes unexpected discomfort.

There are quite a few issues i have with this product, the worst being it BURNS when you put it on. I thought i got a bad product, but the other reviews consistently say how bad it is. Secondly there is no "shine", it is completely matte, and thats really all you need to know to stay away.
