This pad is nice and thick but it doesn't work until you get all the roll marks out of the rug. I had to flip my rug wrong side down and walk on it for a couple of days before it would flatten out enough for the pad to hold it down. Once down it gives your rug a nice cushion to walk on.

This rug pad is expensive for what you get. Pretty standard issue, I think you could do better buying it separately from Amazon or Walmart.
