We were missing a couple clues/documents but overall this was a great experience. We actually felt like we were solving things. The biggest headache was the poorly designed clue about a cypher. It didn’t make sense the way it was called out nor was it legible.
Disappointing

Finished entire game in under 2 hours, clues were very straight forward and I found myself correctly predicting the rest of the chapters halfway into the game as there were very obvious patterns. There were a few interesting evidence components, but the storyline was weak. Also, there's supplementary info online that we missed at first. Not sure why it wasnt just printed and included like a lot of the other content. Would not recommend for experienced escape room-ers.

Spoiler Alert: The first 3 chapters were super easy and took very little detective work to figure out. The final chapter was more challenging, but the clues given were less detective work and more puzzle-solving, which was fun, but didn't seem to really match the style of the other chapters. I'm addition, there were numerous small errors that didn't affect the outcome of the game, but bugged me since you're supposed to look at the clues so closely. For instance, one of the victims was supposedly found "face down in the sand", but the crime scene photo has her laying on her side. In another instance, an article states that a series of murders took place in "a two-year time frame" when they actually all occurred with a 12-month period. Another article says a thief was "caught" in the headline, then proceeds to inform you that an APB was put out for an unknown subject with a distinguishing characteristic. There's some pseudo-science about handwriting determining personality traits and a whole objective in which the evidence is supposed to prove someone innocent of murder, but actually only proves he didn't write the letters sent to police/newspapers. Most glaringly, a solution to one of the objectives tells you to take into account a clue that you don't even receive until you solve this objective and are allowed to open the next envelope. (It's not really needed to solve the objective, though.) These are small things, but taken together and considering you're supposed to be a DETECTIVE (agent), it's annoying to DETECT these things. On the whole, I was left thinking, "Meh." If you're looking for a fun group activity for an adult-themed (I mean, we are talking about a serial killer) game night, sure. But if you're looking for a fun challenge to scratch your true crime itch, this isn't it.
Wow! What a surprise!

Wow What an incredible rollercoaster ride of a game. We played it over 3 nights and there were so many cliffhangers and exciting twists that we had to make ourselves put it down each night. I played with my wife and I can’t recommend it enough! Incredible story, lots of interesting mysteries to solve and more than a little bit spooky.

Love it! Amazing murder mystery adventure. It comes in four chapters, so you can either settle in and play a longer game in one night or play over a few nights! The outcome will shock you! The evidence included in the game was very authentic and fun. Felt like a great value!

This is by far the best mystery game I have played. It has far more detail than any other game with 4 chapters and it kept my family fascinated for hours. No spoilers on the solution but it's a great plot! Thoroughly reccommend.

I consider myself an afficiendo of Murder Mystery Games and this Night Hunter game blows away any other game I have played to date in this category. This game was full of twist and turns like reading a good novel. It had almost twice as much evidence to sift through than the other 6 games I have completed in the genre of games. The evidence was so realistic and complete that I found myself wanting to get my detective license. If you buy this you won't be disappointed.

This cold case file hit me out of nowhere! Compared to other games, this one contained stuff I've never seen before. Hidden black light evidence, interesting mind puzzles and more. I found the online support great (used a hint when I got stuck). It has a great story following a notorious serial killer and tons of detailed information that leads to solutions. The game took us about 4 hours over 2 nights with 2 couples. We had a blast!
This was amazing . . . and a little creepy in a good way!

I've played a lot of mystery games (and solved a lot of cases!), and Night Hunter was by far the best. There was so much evidence and it was fun to lay everything out and figure out how it all fit together--from bite marks to medical reports to handwritten letters. I played with some friends from Germany and I loved how everyone contributed different things to solving the case--it was a real team effort. Putting the clues together was challenging, but definitely doable. We were tempted to look at the online clues, but decided to keep going and solved the mystery without them. My favorite part was that we were actually preventing a crime from happening.
