USDA Choice Angus Petite Sirloin Steak - 1.49-2.73 lbs - price per lb - Good & Gather™

I've been buying these for years. They've always been really fantastic. Exceptional, in fact. But lately, I'd absolutely swear that these are eye of the round and not sirloin any longer. They're tough, have less flavor than before and have almost no fat marbling. I think they're vastly different from the product they used to be. Just my opinion.

First of all, I need to mention that I practice the art of elevated cooking and I have exceptionally persnickety taste buds. Texture, flavor, freshness, and juiciness are the most powerful criteria in choosing a steak. I ALWAYS very well pan sear steak in stainless steel at a very high temperature with ghee. Lots and lots of ghee. I always like my steak quite rare but very nicely browned and crusted on the outside. It is very rare to be able to accomplish this with supermarket steaks of ANY cut except Flat Iron. These steaks are exceptionally tender and can be pan seared and served very rare. They do not have a lot of tendon, excessive fat, or other such undesirable elements. They really don't even need to be trimmed at all. They are absolutely perfect! I am having guests over the holidays and actually need 10 of these. The package is only have six in them and Target policy prohibits buying more than one package at a time online. I will have to either place another order or find a way to make it into a store to purchase more because I know that I can very proudly serve these to my guests. Thank you Target, for choosing a very high quality product to offer your customers.

seared and diced it to make an amazing stir fry that easily fed 8 people. its also perfect for meal prepping! easy to cook, wonderful texture with minimal prep.

Steaks are great but the price hike is outrageous! I used to pay 17 to 20 dollars. How do you justify this huge markup ?

These used to be great for the price but the mark up recently is outrageous. Inflation is such crap. I’ll buy them from a place with better meat at this price now.

This last time these steaks had a strange smell/taste even though they were fresh. My boys wouldn’t eat them. They were also on the thin side. Normally Target’s beef is delish so although this was an isolated incident, I’ll probably not order these again by delivery. I’d wanna check them out first.

best meat ever, if you are a bodybuilder like me, trust me, this is what you need to obe eating, tastes amazing and its food that will help you stay lean! love to see it!

My family and I enjoyed this. They turned out soft and I added my seasonings and Delicious !!! I will definitely purchase again.

My husband and I REALLY enjoy this steak. We buy one package every week to turn this into THREE meals. This steak is a GOOD quality steak. I cut up our steak into strips prior to sautéing in the skillet with one cap of Avocado oil. It is best to cook only to medium rare to reap the most benefits of Vitamin B12. THIS steak is ONE of the best meats offered at Target!!! :)

Typically I don’t taste a difference when buying steaks. But my son will only eat the steaks from target! They cook up so nicely!

Great sirloin. Almost like filet mignon. Marinated in dales steak sauce. Cooked 3 minutes each side. Delicious!! Will be buying this again

The meat was excellent! I used three steaks for Beef Stronganoff, and three we barbecued! The meat was very tender! Hopefully I will be able to purchase again if it’s available!

These are the best steaks, I wish you would bring them back at our target.

While I agree with previous reviews that these steaks are fatty and tough - this is easily overlooked when you use the cooked meat for sandwiches the following days. SO DELCIOUS! Cook the steaks (with a marinade) to rate/medium rare, let cool, then place in the fridge over night. Cut into slices and use for sandwich meat the following days - perfect.

We’ve had these steaks at least 3 times. Each time they have been excellent and at a great price! I’ll be picking these up more often.
