Q: Do I need to wear a moisturizer before applying this SPF or would it double as the moisturizer and SPF? I have oily skin and dislike applying SPF over a moisturizer because it makes me look more oily.

No white cast. No scent. Very light formula doesn’t feel greasy or anything! I started using it and my husband stole it from me so I will be purchasing another one. I truly live the fact that is spf 50!! My husband works outdoor most of the time so this is perfect! I have bought myself another one for me because the formula is incredible.

This sunscreen is great for sensitive skin. I have dry, rosacea and acne prone skin and it works well for me. It’s hydrating but not greasy, there is no scent and it’s great under makeup (no pilling). It does have a somewhat glowy finish but it isn’t overwhelming. Overall a great spf moisturizer.

Don’t let the packaging size fool you, this sunscreen lasted over a month for me. It has almost a gel-like texture and goes on smooth. It leaves my skin feeling moisturized and looking glowy and healthy.

I’ve been using the previous versed guards up mineral sunscreen for a few years but it’s sadly being discontinued. Decided to give this a try and it’s very hydrating, has 0 white cast and has not bothered my acne prone skin!Unfortunately, this current sunscreen does irritate my eyes pretty badly it’s active ingredients are known to do such. Bring back the guards up mineral sunscreen!

Great spf moisturizer and sunscreen. Lightweight gel cream texture and wears nicely under makeup. I have tried this for a week now in the mornings and it has not broken me out or caused any sensitivity. It could definitely replace my old favorite!

I took my time trying this product and I absolutely love the sunscreen. I have acne prone skin and this does not break me out.. it does not leave a white cast, and it also does not burn your eyes. It goes on really thin, which I love., even though I received this product for free, I would hundred percent buy it again!

I received a bottle of Good Defense in exchange for an honest review, and I'm honestly here to tell you this is one of the best SPFs I've ever used on my face! It does not dry out my skin or make it feel sticky/stiff. No white cast at all! Perfect on its own or under makeup, and it doesn't make my sensitive skin itchy or break out like other SPFs sometimes do! I used to love the original Versed Good Defense sunscreen, but this upgrade has the original beat! I love it so much and I'm so excited to keep exploring the re-releases and new products coming out from Versed this year. I'm a forever Versed fan!

Love the gel platform for this sunscreen because I feel like it’s a big factor in leaving my skin feeling glowy and hydrated! It doesn’t leave a white cast so it’s perfect on its own or as prep before applying makeup. It has a slight typical sunscreen scent, but overall I would say this is on-par with Korean sunscreens that are trending at the moment.

I have oily, acne-prone skin so finding a sunscreen that doesn't leave me all greasy isn't that easy. This one is a great option! The formula doesn't go on thick and it dries out really nicely. I don't get oily throughout the day either. Definitely a must try!

I had previously tried Versed’s Guards Up sunscreen and the formula wasn’t ideal for my dry skin. I’ve been using the new Good Defense sunscreen every day for about 3 weeks and I’m in love. It is lightweight and leaves a glow on my skin that has elicited positive comments from my family and coworkers. Most importantly, it doesn’t break me out at all which is rare for me when trying new sunscreens. It doesn’t have a scent and you can tell it has high quality skincare ingredients because it leaves your skin feeling better than before. The only flaw is that it burns my eyes if I apply too close to them so it probably won’t be a sunscreen I work out or swim in. Will definitely be repurchasing and would recommend you try it.
