Vicks VapoRub Advanced Plus is chest rub and topical analgesic for your minor aches and pains. Brought to you by the world's #1 selling OTC cough and cold brand*, it provides fast, powerful cough relief. It's specially formulated with three actives to help relieve your cough and provides a cooling sensation upon application. VapoRub is the answer to your cough, day or night. The active release Vicks Vapors last up to 8 hours. To use, rub a thick layer of the medicated ointment on your chest and throat to temporarily relieve your cough. Keep clothing loose around throat and chest to allow the Vicks Vapors to reach the nose and mouth and go straight to the source of your cough. Use up to three times daily or as directed by a doctor for soothing and comforting relief. VapoRub Advanced Plus can also be used as a topical analgesic to temporarily relieve minor aches and pains in your muscles and joints. I purchased this Vicks Vapor Rub for many reasons: not only does it help breathe without putting it on, I can put it on a washcloth and slowly add warm water and inhale the fumes that helps me breathe better, helps keep your toes free of fungus, and softens your cuticles. The great thing about it, it's made in Germany. Although it's smaller in size (almost 3 oz.), the value and quality of this product is superb.

I’ve had a cough for almost 2 weeks now. It has gotten worse and worse to the point I feel like throwing up, my head is pounding and my abs hurt from how much I have to cough due to the tickle in my throat. I used some of this tonight and it gave me almost immediate relief. This helps drastically space out your coughing so you can get some much needed rest. Paired this with some peppermint tea with honey and feel SO much better. Highly recommend.

Not worth the extra cost. Doesn’t work, can’t even smell it after a few minutes. The original is much better. Waste of money!
