Vorando used to make superior products, but there is no heat flow to this product.

I bought this fan/heater to keep by my bedside as the wife likes to keep it pretty cool in the bedroom and I gwet chilled easily. my only suggestion is it would be nice to have a third or slightly wartmer temp setting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So the heater came in a nice well presented sturdy box. About 10 in x 10 inches, a cube. I was super excited to use it. High low buttons and the bottom has a special feature that acts like a surge protector if knocked off the button fully extends the power goes off. I take it to my table in my porch turn it on and it heats up pretty well. Definitely not hot enough to burn anyone. The temp was like 50-60. Honestly it blows warm arm. I find no difference than lighting a candle to take the chill out of the air. Now my size was personal the small one. I’m sure had I got the bigger size it would definitely made a difference but the personal one might be good for underneath a desk to toast your legs a bit. Bigger would have been better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With the increase in energy prices, and the fact that I'm often home alone, I find it too wasteful to have the entire house be heated. I have used Vornado products in the past (humidifier) so I knew it is a brand I can trust. The Velocity 1 quickly warmed up my office space and it was fairly noiseless. A very cool product to have around to get one room at a more comfortable temperature without wasting energy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this little heater to use in my bathroom. It puts out decent heat and helps warm bathroom when showering. It is small don’t take lot of space and it has the automatic turn off if accidentally knocked over. Works good

There is a single knob with three functions—fan, low heat, and high heat. The fan works reasonably well, but the heat functions are a bit disappointing. The heater simply cannot produce very hot air. It is fine for my needs, but I often find myself wishing the air leaving the heater was hotter.

I don’t like turning on the central heat, but I’ve got kids. My daughter put it in a her room for a few hours before bedtime and it made her room nice and toasty. She slept well through the night. I am a big fan that it turns off if it tips over as we have cats that may knock it over. It’s very light and not bulky too so that’s a plus in my book.

It has two settings for heat and an option to just have the fan with no heat. It isn't super powerful but it works to get the chill out of the air. It would be great for a small office or something like that. The casing of heater itself doesn't feel hot to the touch which is great, you don't have to worry about accidental burns.

We live in Florida and we set this heater up in our bathroom on a chilly morning so when we take a shower the temperature was perfect. So if you are in need of a smaller, dependable heater dpi not hesitate you purchase this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This arrived just in time to help stave off the chill of a situation resulting from a major snow storm and a broken furnace thermostat. Set the Vornado up on the counter so it would blow into the central room of the house directly over the sofa. It is fairly quiet and got up to max speed and temp quickly. The evercool shell and wide base made it feel safe with minimal chance for overheating or tipping. I checked the emergency shut off feature and it shut off immediately when the unit was not level. Fan guards should protect just about all little fingers. The unit was able to raise the temperature of an area of about 800 sq ft 1 degree ( while the rest of the house temp fell by 3-4 degrees) so it is definitely helping us "hold our own". Only complaint is that the fan seems a bit under powered compared to a similar sized product we have used in the past. Would be a great choice for taking chill off a small room or keeping warm while reading.

I live in northeast US and it gets so cold in the winter.. having a small heater to take the chill off is a necessity! You can choose from two heat settings and this personal heater really throws out a good amount of heat! This one also has a fan setting.. so you can use it as a fan also!!

I was surprised with how truly small and compact it was when I got it out of the box, thinking surely this wouldn't work adequately. But it puts out a ton of heat and still stays much quieter than most personal heaters.

It is very lightweight and easy to carry room to room and the perfect size to bring to work or use in your home office. This is a great personal size heater for when you want to warm up, but do not want to run the whole house heater. Very easy to use, it has a high/low and fan setting. The case of the heater does not heat up, so you can safely touch the heater while it is on. If you are looking for a little compact heater, this one is an impressive choice, I love it!

I use this on my feet during work days and we love to have it nearby for downstairs movie nights in areas where the heat vents don't get to. A nice small easy way to gain comfort in your home!

I have Vornado heaters and fans at home, they are fantastic products! I love the stability, safety features and the excellent warranty. I was very excited to find this little heater for our RV. The *normal" ones are just too easy to tip over in a small place and then add 2 dogs and 2 cats-big no go. Amperage also means a lot more in an RV, the fact that this heater can run on just 375W (low) in my bath and run me out because it gets so warm is wonderful. It also does an acceptable job for our garage area (we have a toy hauler). You could use multiples of these in an RV. It is so nice to be able to use a heater while I shower and brew a pot of coffee without tripping a fuse. I highly recommend this heater for other RVers or those with truly small spaces.

Bought this to replace the Vornado foot heater that finally gave out. This is much noisier than my old one. I wouldn't recommend. I wish they would make the foot heater again! I loved it under my desk!
