Q: Do the blades need to be oiled?

A: Yes, the blades should be oiled every few uses. Here is the process: Place one drop of clipper oil in the center of the movable top blade and one drop of oil on each end of the top blade. Next, add one drop of oil to the heel of the stationary bottom blade on each side. (5 drops of oil total) Turn clipper on and run to distribute the oil. Worked well for about 5 cuts then the battery died. So i charged it all day and over night. It worked for about 10 minutes then died again. I do not recommend. I think ill try getting clippers from Tik Tok. This was very disappointing

I had bought this clipper set two months ago. It worked great up until today. As soon as I took the larger clipper off the charger I immediately heard a hissing crackling noise coming from it. After that I noticed a stream of smoke coming from the charger port. Very scary experience. I will stick with the corded version.

These arrived already used! I opened the package and they have someone else’s hair trimmings on the clipper and all inside the bag. It is so disappointing Target doesn’t have better quality control than this. Will have to return!

My first set stopped working after about four uses. I assumed the battery had died, so I charged it but it didn’t work again. I returned the product and swapped for another set based on the Wahl reputation. Exactly the same thing happened again. Very disappointing, especially as I am now outside of the returns window.
