Q: Can this be used with a heavy duty extension cord
A: Thank you for your question. While the manual does not specifically mention extension cords, for safety and optimal performance, we recommend plugging the unit directly into a wall outlet whenever possible. If you do need to use a heavy-duty extension cord, please keep the following precautions in mind: -Choose a cord with a thicker wire gauge than the original power cord — this helps handle the power load safely and reduces the risk of overheating. -Keep the extension cord as short as possible to minimize voltage drop. -Ensure the environment is dry and well-ventilated — do not use extension cords in damp or wet areas to avoid electrical hazards. -If you’re unsure about compatibility, feel free to provide the cord specs and we’ll be happy to advise. Safety always comes first.

Q: How loud/many db is the unit? It says whisper quiet in sleep mode, has this been rated?
Q: Is this good for camper van
Q: How would this work in a van?
A: Our portable air conditioner is designed to work efficiently in a van. It can be placed inside or outside the van, depending on your setup: If placed inside, connect the exhaust hose to the warm air outlet and direct it outside through a window or vent to expel heat; If placed outside, attach the hose to the cool air outlet and route it into the van for cooling. Ensure the unit is powered by a 110V source (via a compatible inverter, generator, or solar panel) and positioned on a flat, stable surface. The exhaust hoses must be securely installed to maintain airflow. For optimal performance, follow the manual’s instructions on setup, mode selection (Cool mode recommended), and safety precautions, such as avoiding blockage of air vents and ensuring proper ventilation. Always adhere to the manual’s guidelines for installation, operation, and maintenance to ensure safe and effective use.

Q: Hello, can this Air conditioner be powered thru the cigarette lighter auxiliary in your car?
A: Sorry,it cannot be powered thru the cigarette lighter auxiliary in cars. This air conditioner is designed to operate with the original factory-provided adapter (input: AC 100-240V, 50/60 Hz; output: DC 24V, 240W). It is compatible with standard household AC power or compatible portable power sources. It cannot be powered directly through a car cigarette lighter (12V DC), as its voltage and power rating (240W) far exceed the typical capacity of a car’s 12V socket (usually ≤150W). Forcing such usage may cause circuit damage, blown fuses, or safety hazards. To ensure safe and optimal performance, strictly use the original adapter. For vehicle use, consider dedicated low-power cooling devices designed for 12V systems.
