We're Not Really Strangers Self-love Edition Game

If I meet a new person, they have to play a version of one of these card games to help me gauge what kind of person they are. All of my future relationships will require a frequent usage of this card game. I’ve played this card game alone many of times over the years and it continually helps me with problems I have in life. Only problem I can think of personally is the fact that WNRS seemed to start focusing on clothes instead of different versions of the card game, but maybe this is all there is to talk about when it comes to categories of feelings and emotions that are general to everyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been combining the cards with journaling in support of nurturing my awareness of self love. They are a useful and thought provoking tool.

I have been using this during therapy sessions with my teen clients & they have opened up so much from having to answer these questions. It has been such a delight to see their confidence grow and observe how much their social skills have improved. I would recommend this to any teacher/therapist/counselor who works with kids & teens!

I saw these cards at Target, and these have really helped me process past and recent traumas, along with the help of a therapist. I’m a writer, but I had a hard time with journaling until I found these cards. I use the questions as journal prompts, and now I write almost every day, and I feel so much better! I’m learning so much about myself in a way that doesn’t overwhelm me. After writing from each card, I feel hopeful and lighter. I can’t wait to see what else unfolds as I work through this deck and others. Please buy this deck - it’s a gift to yourself that you deserve. :purple_heart:

I got this this year for christmas and after playing the game myself in the past three days i’ve 100% gotten to know myself better and live a bit clearer in my self knowledge and acceptance.

I love this! For someone deep on their self love journey, having these prompts plus a notebook would have been incredibly helpful. I had to create my own path and I valued doing that but there’s great value in this too!
