It is a cute concept but I really needed to write a review to warn others. My daughter who is 5 received as an Xmas gift and her little brother(1 1/2) thought it was so cute so naturally he went to pet the cute little tongue it had. Well, just as he went to it, it sucked in its eyes and mouth, leaving my poor son’s tiny tip of his finger/his whole nail inside with the hard tongue pressing down on his finger. He screamed for quite a while. Def a dangerous toy for littles. I tested it on my own finger and that thing is strong and painful’!!

Very painful. It will stick out mouth. Your child's hand (skin) will get caught. My 10 year old daughter screamed for 5 minutes while we tried to "calm" it to get the mouth to come back out. Please be careful. This would tear apart a toddler skin of their hand.

we got our daughter this toy for Christmas. she absolutely adores it and enjoys playing with it. Heck, even Injad s good time making it face and sing. It's very amusing. However, it's also super loud! After a few minutes, I wanted to ask my kid to play with it in another room. One good move by the toy company: there IS an off switch. I like that it's engaging and asks you to build a relationship with it over time. A good exercise in patience for kids, now I have to be a good grown-up and see how patient I am with talking toys.

This was a great gift for my 7 year old niece. Super interactive and enjoyable to play with. Gave it 4 stars because it does take some TLC, it was making squeaks all night long, but after getting to know you it feels more comfortable. Really great practice for someone who wants a real puppy.

My 5 year old had fun following the instructions and watching the toy come to life. My toddler was terrified of it . When the puppy is starting to make noises its cute but once the eyes and mouth start to stick out its a bit odd looking. Overall its a cute toy but we had to hide it because it was too scary for my toddler and my 5 year old didnt have any interest once the puppy showed its face.

It requires to child to interact with the "fluff" over a duration to create trust, as you would have to do with a real pet at the beginning. The child needs to play with the fluff by tossing it into the air and catching it, and each time when they do that, the fluff would make a cute barking sound, show its face and ears for a short moment, and curl back up into a ball of fluff. My 9-year-old daughter has been tossing it on and off for about a week, but as of right now, it's still a ball of fluff, so I can't review the pet mode. But I love how this toy requires a bit of patience and persistence before it evolves, so it's not a quick to go through type of toy and gets forgotten and put aside quickly. My daughter is enjoying this toy so far and is looking forward to play with it in its pet mode.

My daughter was just thrilled with it, starting off as a purple fluff ball she had to coax it out of hiding and turn into a puppy! She loved playing with it and her favourite mode was the music and dancing! The only thing I would note as a parent is when your child is done playing it still talks for what seems to be quite a lot time before it goes to a sleep mode.

I would recommend for a 5-6 year old as my niece is 7 and she liked it but it didnt capture her attention for too long. You have to pet and play with the little fluff to gain it's trust. Then it will open it's eyes, sing and make happy sounds. It is a great gift idea. Would be nice to have different colors.
