Q: There is a white plastic drip tray that came with it. No instructions at all how to install it. I called company she said it slips in on back of refrigerator. I see nowhere at bottom opening where it just slips in! Onto what I.don’t know!

A: Basically, you *slide* the white plastic tray onto the top of the compressor. Notice that there is a projecting white piece on the bottom of the tray and a similar projecting black piece on the top of the compressor. They should click into place, as you slide the white tray onto the top of the compressor. If problems, call the Whirlpool number: 1-855-666-4477.

A: In the q/a's of the Whirlpool Black WH31BKE it says shelves are adjustable, but stationary. They do not slide in/out.

Bought for my office at work. Works well and is nice size for my needs. I mostly use for frozen dinners, left-overs, and drinks, so I don't keep a lot of food in it, but the size works well for me. I actually told co-workers they could use it too because I don't use all the space. Before Christmas break I defrosted the and unplugged. I've been using it since August, and there was very little ice build up in the freezer.

This mini fridge is amazing!! It fits so much for a little thing. The freezer space is awesome too and I like that it's separate. I would say pick it up at drive up. Don't get it delivered!! Also when you pick it up inslect the box because the first one they tried to give me and a bug hoke in it you could actually see the fridge lol I made them bring me out another one. Also who knows what shipping people do with it! Great for the price I'm super happy.

During Phase II of World Domination I decided to rent a room. This mini fridge/freezer with separate doors has been awesome! No more having to share space or not getting ANY space in the house fridge!! I read a lot of reviews from several different stores/ brands. They mentioned failed thermostats/ their fridge being too loud. It seemed like they all had the same amount of bad vs good reviews regardless of brand. At some point I needed to pull the trigger. So I bought the one that was most accessible to me and I knew I could return it. It holds quite a bit of food. Currently I have 2 silicone ice trays, 3 small bags of frozen veggies, a few small ice packs and a container of coco whip (like cool whip but it's made from coconut milk. I use it for my coffee. Soooo good!) in the freezer. The shelves in the fridge are glass and strong. The crisper can house several sodas, or bag of medium size oranges and 3 large apples (like now). It's also very easy to clean. I've had this little for about 4 months. I haven't had any issues with the thermostat. It's also very quite. Most of the time I forget that it's on. Finally, the water at my place leaves a lot to be desired. I put a bed tray on the top of the fridge and it acts like a small counter that I can put my 3 gallon jugs on.

Originally I got my 2 kids, 2 different colleges small square , just a refrigerator type fridge for their dorms. I needed to changes them out & went with a small fridge/ freezer style but mostly with a brand I trust. I got them each the Whirlpool 3.1 cu ft Mini Refrigerator in stainless steel. After the ease of unpacking, plugging in & getting temperature adjusted. The temperature in each the refrigerator and freezer are perfectly adjusted with the one dial in the refrigerator. I added small thermostats in to make sure they are at the right temperatures. Filling up these small fridges & freezers, well it holds way more than we thought! My daughter bags of steamed veggies, ice cream sandwiches, frozen pizzas all in that freezer her milk, fruits and yogurt bread and cold cuts in fridge My son, bags of chicken strips container of ice cream. Frozen TV dinners. Happy college kids. These sizes are acceptable for college dorms. Glad I was able to upgrade my kids, they are happy
