Q: Is the compressor line inside the actual freezer & if damaged will that cause the fridge part to no longer cool

A: The compressor lies at the bottom back of the whole fridge, not inside the actual usage part of the fridge, and if the compressor is damaged, it will cause the whole fridge to no longer cool.

A: It should fit 16 oz bottles of water with little to no issues, however I wouldn't recommend the Hint bottles... they are too hard. They should be the flexi-bottles.

I bought this because Whirlpool has traditionally meant quality. The fridge part stopped working at just under a year. (The freezer still works.) The food placed in the refrigerator part is spoiling quickly, resulting in my having to re-buy food frequently. This has to go to metal recyclers, and I have to buy a new one. You can rest assured that it won't be a Whirlpool.

Mini fridge arrived by FedEx laying on its side (box clearly marked). It was "out for delivery" the previous day so I know it was like this for over 24 hours. Box is too tall to fit under the truck's lower shelf. I'll let it set for a couple days before plugging in. Who knows what damage has been done by FedEx.

It's ok for a cheap fridge. You have to keep the thermostat almost maxed out to keep everything cold. The items stored in the door never really get cold so can't really keep perishables there. The annoying part it has to be defrosted every 2 weeks like clockwork or the door won't seal properly. What happens the ice starts forming on the front of the freezer first which pushes the freezer door outward which then pushes on the main door. The mini fridges I owned in the past never had this problem

Bought this Whirlpool Mini Fridge WH43S1E less than 2 years ago. It no longer works. Replaced the start relay & overload protector, & still doesn't work. Has to be a bad compressor. Really disappointing for an appliance less than 2 years old. Won't buy another Whirlpool product ever.
