I have had these cabinets for over a year now and love them! The 5.2 qt sized boxes fit in them perfectly for organzing my office supplies. I put 2 next to each other to make one long cabinet and they look nice together. One lamp on top and you might think it's one piece at first glance. The most suprising factor was how thick and heavy the back panel is, but that prevents the unit from tipping forward. I didn't have any issue with scratches or chips.

Didn’t realize the sides of the cabinet were white and not the same as the top and doors. Was disappointed.

This is the first item we have ever returned that we ordered from Target. The front doors have a gap between them, the hinges don't fit right, and the handles and legs are a very cheap plastic.

Sturdy but extremely heavy, for a shoe cabinet. Just add a padlock and it can serve as a safe. No one will open it without key.

the hinges are not ideal. i have had issues from day one. very disappointed

Pro: Easy enough to put together, hinges allow adjustment, sturdy shelves. Con: Many chips and a large scratch on the top, bits of glue on most edges, CHEAP quality handles (bend when installing), hollow legs seem like they could crack easily if not extremely careful when moving it. Confusing: The back is double-thickness of 3/4" (like the shelves) that is screwed together, but it's split horizontally so the back is made of 2 panels. What's confusing is the front/inner side of the back panel is slightly smaller on all edges, leaving a gap all the way around. However, the outside has no gap, but you'll never ever see that "clean" side because it should be attached to the wall (hardware included). Maybe picking nits but it's def a weird design.

I expected cheap wood but this stuff kind crumbles in your hand. The handles and legs are cheap plastic and some of the pieces had cosmetic damage. Its already built so I'm not going to return but definitely wishing I had seen a sample model in person before purchasing. I'm not fond of the 2 tones. I thought I would be but once its put together it looks like I built this cabinet out of left over materials.

A little confusing directions but looks great

First of all this is really beautiful and looks like it does in the pictures. But, I was really irritated when I opened the box and found that the legs and door pulls are made of cheesy plastic (and the legs are hollow). Overall the construction of it is far cheesier than i thought it should be compared to the original price (got it on sale). I was also not happy that you are supposed to anchor it to the wall and that you arent supposed to put anything heavy on it like a tv (which is why I ordered it). With that said I did end up keeping it and do like it.

OK for the price. It has light colored sides that don't match the top and front, so it is not a "fine" piece of furniture. I use it in the basement to house my router and other electronics, so it is ok for that. Assembly went well. It took about an hour. Be careful about making sure all the finished edges face toward the front. The instructions don't alert you to that and it is easy to end up with an unfinished edge facing out.

We live this piece for our foyer. It is smart looking and adds that mid century modern look.
