Description
Winter Jasmine stands out in the late winter landscape with willowy green stems adorned by an abundance of bright yellow flowers. Its arching branches can be easily trained to grow as a climbing vine supported by a trellis, allowed to cascade down a slope, or used to soften a retaining wall. Winter Jasmine tolerates drought, adapts to both heavy clay and sandy soils, and adds a ray of sunshine to any winter garden!

2 nursey pots of these winter jasmines arrived today. They were packaged in a tall plant packaging box that didn't have a separator in the middle. The two nursery pots were placed in the box with branches nudging against each other. The branches of the plants were banded with twisted ties. When I untied the plants, some branches were snapped. Not to mention. The winter jasmines look to be in very rough shapes.

I bought many, many plants from NPN this Spring, and this is one of the only survivors of our hot, dry summer. They are planted in a shaded area, but I can only water them twice a week, and I only lost one, out of nine. Pretty good odds.

It looked fine upon arrival however it did not survive our winter. We had a very mild winter, it was planted properly, it should have made it. It started to look less than perfect shortly after arrival so I’m wondering what happened in transit or if it was just too long in shipping? Unfortunately now I am beyond the very short return. And there is no plant warranty.
