Women's High-Rise Sailor Jean Shorts - Universal Thread™

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love these shorts. They are so cute high rise a black denim. I love how short the inseam is it was so comfortable. There are front and back pockets and a button and zip closure. I typically wear a size 14 to 16. I ordered these in a size 14 and they were a little bit snug but they fit and I really like them. Maybe size up if you have a thicker waist like I do, but honestly, they buttoned and fit just fine. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a terrific pair of shorts. They fit my daughter perfectly. She is wearing the size 4 and I would recommend staying true to size. She is wearing the color black. These shorts are high-rise, which makes them much more comfortable to wear. They have a slim leg but the leg does not fit too tight. And they have a 2 1/2 inch inseam. I typically would consider this to be too short, but I felt like these actually did not look too short on my daughter. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not sold on these “sailor fit” denim shorts in black. The material is very stiff and does not have much stretch at all. The black also seemed a bit faded, without it being mentioned that they were distressed or anything like that. The size 12s fit closer to a 10/11 and the sailor cut hits my mid section at a weird spot. The legs had a good fit for me, but the waist was not working at all. They are on the shorter side also. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking for some new jean shorts so I ordered these in a size 6. I typically wear a size 6 in other brands, but these were way too small for me. I wish the inseam was a couple inches longer and I definitely would need to try a bigger size to fit around the waist and hips better. I do like the high-rise waist line and the color of the denim. The quality of the shorts seems pretty good, they just don’t fit me. I received an incentive to write this review.

Typically a size 0, and sized up to a 2 in these (5’5, 115lbs). Fit just like the picture - Very flattering, high waisted with belt holes but roomy in the booty (I hate shorts that hug your thighs). Not much stretch, if any. These remind me of 3” high waisted jcrew linen shorts from a few years ago. Got them in denim and black - please make more colors!
