It was an awkward fit and the fabric is too stiff.

This dress is so flattering! I agree with the reviewers who complain about the lack of lining in the skirt, but a half slip is very easy to wear under the skirt. This style of dress suits those with an hourglass figure that has a defined waist. The only pain point about the material is that though the cotton sheeting is cool and breezy to wear, it is going to be tedious to iron and steam before wear.

Perfect Fit! Some of the reviews say it's too much fabric, but I love it. The skirt is full, which is fun. The top is more fitted. Perfect for a pear shape body. High Quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’re looking for a spring dress. This is the perfect one to add to your wardrobe. It’s very true to size. I typically wear this size which is a xxl. The material offers a slight stretch which made it comfortable and easy to get on and off. The mid length was perfect as I’m 5 foot three and it was not too short or too long. I plan on wearing this with a black cardigan and a pair of black sandals for a complete I had to to look I really feel like this is a nice high-quality item for the price and I will get a lot of out of it. I so wanted to love this dress. For reference, I’m 5’5 and 137lbs. Tried in both the small and medium and neither fit right. Small was too tight on top (36B bra size) but bottom fit better. Medium the top fit well but the bottom was huge! Way too much fabric which made the shape of the dress super unflattering. In general, it’s well made for the price. The other issue is it’s see through. Even with nude undergarments, the fabric was too thin for my likings. Maybe if the dress proportions fit, I could have lived with it.

Size small fits a little big does not allow for shape of the dress and or body. Cute design especially around the neck and chest area. Bonus there are pockets. Fabric is a little stiff but not uncomfortable. Price is a little high for quality. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not sure if I just ordered this in the wrong size or if it’s just not good in photos, but this dress definitely has a lot of extra material to it and does not fit in all the right places. It is nice and thick and lined so that is a bonus however, I’m just not sure it looks flattering as needed. Great idea with the contrast of the cream and black just not for me. This is a size extra large and I typically would wear a large, so maybe it’s just too big. I received an incentive to write this review.

Good for strawberry shaped body. The A-line evens out my proportions. Yes it’s somewhat see through but nude colored bras and undies work.

This dress is so beautiful. The cutout eyelet detail is gorgeously done and I love the trim. The see through aspect is a small thing, just wear a slip!

The dress is beautiful , size down one size. I brought an 1x , returned for an extra large. I also have a wide black 1950’s style belt I will be wearing with ( accessorize ) the dress. To all complaining about the dress is see-through , buy a slip. Slips have not been banded or outlawed. They still sell them. 1 star removed Bcz of sizing.

I just impulse purchased this today, saw when I walked in my local store and tried it on. I was thinking I would need an XS, but the S fit me great. Yes it's elasticized at the waist which I like. The look is A line and I personally really like the poof of the skirt. Also love the pockets! I do agree with all the other reviews that this dress would be a 10/10 if it were lined, especially considering the almost $40 price point. Nonetheless, if you wear a nude bra, nude undies and a slip skirt, you'll be fine.

Beautiful details with the matching black detailing. Seemed a little see through on the hanger but fine once on. True to size. Typically M/L and ordered medium fits perfectly.

Too much material on the skirt part and I even tried a smaller size but still looked puffy. I so wanted to love this dress but didn’t fit me well. Returned.

Seems true to size. Skirt border is lovely, top is just so-so (wish it didn’t have elastic at the waist). Biggest gripe is it’s not lined- for almost $40, I would have liked a skirt lining.

Great design and material. Also nice length, I am 5’2 and it hits my at ankle. I really wanted to love it, however, the upper part of the dress is really awkward, it made my chest look unusual large and not in a flattering way. Unfortunately, something is off with a design.

The style is very cute but the fabric is see through. Wish it came in black
