Women's Eyelet Maxi Sundress - Universal Thread™

I got this in white and it's sooo pretty in person. Looks like a higher end dress and is floaty and super soft. White isn't sheer enough to need a base layer thanks to a same-fabric slip/liner inside. My issue is that I have an hourglass figure. Very small around the ribcage and waist. Larger in the bust and somewhat fuller hips. The dress fits me nicely around the bust area, but the problem is that the fabric just hangs from the bust, rather than draping like it's shown in the photos. It literally looks I'm pregnant. Very, very pregnant. Which is shockingly not the look I was hoping for. I can see how it would be flattering on someone maybe with more petite bust proportions. But for me, the waist is just gone and it's unflattering. But, I like it so much I'm keeping it as a nightgown! It doesn't work for me as a dress, but I'd still recommend people try it to see if it works for them, because it's beautiful.

It’s a very pretty dress. I got the white first and it is a bit see thru but I thought it will be a great work from home dress or even a sunset on the beach dress in Southern California. I really wanted the black dress so as soon as it came back in stock, I grabbed it up! I’m gonna live in this one this summer I think. Very casual beach picnic dress. I got my normal target size and it’s very roomy- that’s the style of it. Bohemian.

First, this is THE dress for Florida summers. I opted for the white, and it is so light and airy and flirty. It flatters the bust line but isn't too low cut. It is more on the loose fitting side, so size down if you want a fitted look. I opted to add a simple chain belt and it pulls the whole look together. I also wear it without a belt and it's just so pretty. I think this would also make an amazing maternity dress because the torso has room, and it's so breathable. It is one of my favorite warm weather pieces now.

Its beautiful. The fabric is so nice. After the first time I put it on I immediately went and purchased the black as well. Its my new favorite dress

The dress is beautiful and flattering. The higher waist line in the front that scoops down to a drop Waste in the back is cute. This is a true maxi dress. I’m 5’5” and it hits me mid ankle. The material is soft and lightweight.

CUTE Spring/Summer dresses! 5'3, 165lbs purchased sized Large in both colors due to loving the embroidery and eyelets pattern. Adjusting the shoulder straps, the length of the dress ran down pass a bit to my ankles. The white is a bit see through though - wearing nude' color underware/slip corrects this. I will be wearing either a trucker denim jacket, long cardigan, or denim shaket over this. Same with the black one.

I can't wait to wear this. It is beautifully lined and has a great fit. It is very slimming compared to some of the other new white dresses out. Fits true to size.

Love the fit and is very comfortable, breathable! However I ordered the white and did feel it was a bit more see through in certain light but wouldn’t stop me from wearing it!

This dress might not be the best fit for small frames. I’m 4’11” and usually wear a size XS, but even with the straps adjusted, the dress still hits the floor. And while it’s cute, it’s also a bit see-through. Another reviewer suggested wearing nude underwear, but it’s so sheer (even with a liner) that I wouldn’t risk it.

The dress is extremely sheer and sewn poorly with a large lump on the bodice …not an attractive look!

Beautiful, but too big!

I agree with others that this runs large and is slightly sheer despite being lined. I do love the dress, and wearing nude underwear would easily solve any sheerness issues as it’s only apparent with dark underwear. The cotton is incredibly soft, and the eyelet shell actually felt quite delicate so I opted to hand wash and hang to dry. I’m pregnant and this looks great with a belly, but I can also tell it will look great (and not create a pregnant look) after baby comes, plus the button front is actually functional so it’ll be nursing friendly. I just wished my dress hadn’t been clearly dragged across the warehouse floor, thankfully I was able to clean it up but if this dress was sold in my local store I would have exchanged it for a cleaner one in a heartbeat.

I loved the dress. The fabric is 100% cotton and feels so buttery against the skin. However it’s too long for short people, I’m 5’1 and would need to get this taken in. It’s a bit see through so you will need to wear the right clothing. Perfect for the summer

This is just the cutest, most flattering dress! I liked it so much I bought it in both colors. I can't wait for the weather to warm up so I can wear these.

I bought it in white and it is a great dress, but it runs large. I usually wear medium, had to go with a small.

I really wanted to love this. It is pretty cute on and very long. I am 5’11 160 lbs and it hits low calf/ankle. The angled drop waist and eyelid details are so cute. However this dress is totally transparent. It has a thing liner underneath that seemingly does nothing. I am sadly going to have to return it.

This dress is absolutely gorgeous, but unfortunately, it runs very large! I think it was designed for taller people. I’m 5’1” and ordered an XS, but the length was insanely long—I had to return it.
