Description
The Worx Nitro 40V Power Share 16” Cordless Chain Saw with Brushless Motor was developed to provide greater performance without all the drawbacks of using a gas-powered tool. 40V of power and a high-efficiency brushless motor combine to spin the high-speed 16” chain at up to 59 ft./s., but at a fraction of the cost of operating a gas-powered chain saw over its lifetime. Battery powered chain saws are less expensive to power and maintain, and are cleaner than gas-powered tools. They’re designed for professional use or for advanced DIY-ers. With the Nitro 40V Chain Saw you can cut up to 30” diameter logs that are on the ground or 15” diameter trees and limbs that are still standing. The one-touch tool-less tension system prevents the chain from overtightening and the automatic chain lubrication feature ensures you’ll always have a well-oiled chain which increases the life of both the bar and the chain. The chain pitch is 3/8 in. and this battery powered chain saw weighs only 15.3 lbs. with the batteries installed and 12.4 lbs. bare. (That’s light for a chain saw when compared to older, traditional models.) It’s perfect for residential home flippers or property owners that need to clear land or chop up fallen tree limbs after a storm. It’s great for disaster clean-up crews, or forestry, nature preserve, and wildlife staff.
