Q: Has anyone had issues with the curtain shrinking after they washes it?

A: Yes! It shrunk about 6" in either direction. It's now barely wide enough to stretch across the tub opening and is about 6" off the ground. I'm going to try to take it back but I don't have the original packaging (I do have the receipt).

I bought this curtain a few years ago and decided to get another one for a different bathroom. They are not the same color even though both are sold as “white”. The current curtain is an off white color. See picture for difference. Will be returning.

Beautiful shower curtain until it’s time to wash! (Highly take that into consideration before purchasing) 😭 This shower curtain is a joke. :/ I purchased this shower curtain for its light and airy appearance, visually appealing texture, yet heavy duty. The curtain was long and the fabric would brush along the tile floor creating such a cozy effect. 😍 Well….all that was ripped away and my heart was shattered (being a little bit dramatic) 🙄 after I pulled it out of the wash and hung it back up. It made me question where half my curtain went?? The curtain went from touching the floor to barely touching the top of the tub. 😳 I was about to take it as a loss and move on to start another shower curtain hunting mission. I returned to perhaps purchase the same curtain because maybe the shrinking was user error?! (I mean why wouldn’t you wash anything that came from the bathroom in hot water to disinfect it?!)…..right?!!….but after reading reviews, it’s apparent that I am not the only one who struggled with the same quality issues here.

I washed and dried it before hanging to get the creases out and it now measures 62” long. Doesn’t even touch the top of my tub. Will be returning. Looks great otherwise.

If I could give less than one star, I would. First time I bought, I followed instructions to a tee as stated on the tag. Washed in cold water and tumble dried on low. When it was time to hang up, I found that it shrunk so much and hung right above my tub. I bought a second time, blaming it to be an accident or my fault the first time. Washed in cold water again, this time I decided to hang it up outside to air dry, went and hung it up and found it shrunk!! Learned my lesson and will not buy again!

I’ve had this shower curtain in the bathroom for over a year. Decided to give it a wash today and upon hanging it back up, I realized it shrunk probably about a foot. Not kidding. This thing fell nicely near the bottom of our stall shower before. Now it’s laughably short. Wish I had seen these reviews before as it sounds like many others have had the same issue. I will be taking this back to Target asap due to it’s faulty state. One should be able to machine wash a shower curtain every now and then…this is ridiculous. I will think twice before purchasing another shower curtain at target in the future.

I love the look. It’s very light and airy. We alternate shower curtains so I only washed it twice in 6 months… first time was no issue, the second time it shrunk and now only reaches the top of my tub. I realize the first time I let it hang dry and the second time I tumbled dry on low as recommended on the tag. Hubs says it looks like the bathtub is wearing a crop top 🤦🏻♀️😂. I would recommend buying this because it’s such a cute option, but if you do wash it, do not “tumble dry on low” as the tag suggests. I would let it air dry. I will be purchasing a new one and I’ll probably get this one again because I like it so much.

lot of reviews re it shrinking .. I've never washed a shower curtain in my life.. There's a liner .. they stay fine. it's not sheets. my current one has been up for a year - looks brand new. I just let it hang for a bit .. wrinkles came out. I'll spot clean if needed. will likely get a new one next season anyways. was only $20.
