I like that it matches my brass bistro table. Box was sealed all around, and the base was surrounded by foam. There was a hole in the pieces bag, but I didn't think much about it till it came to piece count. I was missing 2 washers. Looking inside the sealed box and secure foam, I did not find them. No worries, as I keep all types of washers for various projects. I like that it fits the umbrella nicely and has a good lighting screw. It's not very heavy but does its job nicely.
