Yookidoo Elephant Baby Shower Bath Toy

I have had this for maybe like 5 months now and use it probably every other day in the bath for my 2 year old and it hasn't given out on me, oozed mold or anything weird. I just make sure to let it run and hang it upside down to dry after each use. I'm sure, just like any other kids toy in water made of plastic that it will get gross over time, but for the price It hasn't done me wrong yet. I'll def order another one soon. I like it because it allows me to rinse my daughters hair and body easier than using a cup or my hands. She likes it because she can spray water everywhere.

I got this for my kids for Christmas. They loved it! It worked for a month and it stopped working. Couldn’t hear the motor or anything. So upset it only worked a month.

Battery pack was corroded only after a few uses.

The bottom is hard to take off and once I put batteries it squirted water out for one second then stopped working

It worked great the first time. The second time it made the whirring noise but no water would come out. Then I took the batteries out and there was all this rust like liquid.

It is small enough for little hands to hold and easily fits on the the ledge in our shower when not in use. When it's working, the stream of water is very gentle and comforting. The batteries were a little clunky to get in, but we figured it out. My only complaint is that the hose does not always work and I have to shift the end that attaches to the sprayer until it starts working again. I received an incentive to write this review.

Lasted a few baths then stopped working.

It barely lasted 2 months and just stopped working even after replacing the batteries.

Quit working after one use. I’m sure this thing probably holds tons of mold anyhow so we went back to the tried & true cup method.

bought this product back in Aug and battery life was very short each time I changed the batteries. I opened it to change them this time and this is what I saw (see photos). My two year old uses this almost every night at bath time and I was planning on using it with my newborn but I’m glad I didn’t.

It was a nice product to use the first 6 months of it but then it started growing mold fast! I would try to scrub it off especially under the ears and it still wouldn’t clean off all the way. The little that would clean off, it would grow back again. I had to throw it out! Not good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a great idea! My daughter normally hates bath time, but with this product she has been having so much fun. She is about 16 months old and was able to use the hose with parent supervision. The stream works perfectly when the elephant base is submerged in water. It is battery operated and the batteries are not included sadly. So make sure you buy AAA batteries. I received an incentive to write this review.

Love this and so does baby, but it is pretty temperamental. The bath water can't be very deep for a young baby so then it has to be held still and vertical right at the bottom of the tub to work properly. Can be a challenge with a kicking six month old.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received this item in the mail, the toy box did more slightly damaged. Didn’t seem to hurt the toy at all. In order for this shower toy to work, you need 4 AA batteries. Worries me a little to have that many batteries in a kids bath toy. I love the idea of being able to gently rinse our baby off in the bath without pouring a bigger stream of water on them from a cup. When I tested this product in our sink, it worked for a few seconds then I couldn’t get it to shower any more water. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 2-yr-old has long, thick, wavy hair that is very challenging to wash - especially when it comes to rinsing the top of her head! This elephant shower is a fun distraction that is helpful in getting the job done. It has pretty decent water pressure and is fairly quiet, so it doesn’t scare her when I try using it on her hair. That said, the design is a bit frustrating as there are no suction cups on the bottom to hold it in place and the length of the hose is fairly short. The lack of suction cups means the elephant is constantly tipped over and the short hose makes it somewhat challenging to reach the top of my daughter’s head - especially when she is sitting in her knees. All-in-all, though, it is a cute toy that helps distract her and is somewhat useful in helping to wash her hair - and I will take any help in that department I can get! My baby is seven months old. The cord is long enough to reach all areas. It was easy to set up. Overall, this has made our bathtime routine smoother and much more enjoyable. It's so much easier than using the sink hose and we can also use it in the bath or on the go. I received an incentive to write this review.

Loved this for our baby! Used it today and noticed black coming out of it. It has mold in it. Threw it away.

He quickly figured out how to squeeze the buttons to make it work and called it his “cool elephant shower” it was easy to get started with 4 batteries and I look forward to using it with my 3 month old as well once they take baths together and I’m sure my oldest will love helping in the bath with his brother! A little expensive for the price but really cute and nice that it is multi purpose I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is small, but it's better that way so it can fit in the toddler's tub. It takes water up well and sprinkles water lightly, however it took a few tries to figure out how it works. I'm not a huge fan of it since the elephant doesn't really stay up right and it sort of moves around as you're trying to rinse off your baby. This is however a great alternative if you don't have an unattachable shower head. I received an incentive to write this review.
