Description
Zevo Flying Insect Trap uses light to continuously attract flying insects (house flies, fruit flies and gnats) and capture them on to an adhesive backing that you never have to touch without chemical insecticides, odors or messes! Replace refill cartridge when it's full of insects. Check it every 15 days or as needed. KEEP ZEVO PLUGGED IN 24/7 FOR BEST RESULTS: DO place in electrical outlets that are easily accessible and near common areas. DO use in an indoor electrical outlet where flying insects enter into the home such as garages and enclosed porches/patios (near entryways), and where they tend to gather, such as in kitchens, near fruits and vegetables, trash cans, houseplants, drains, etc. DO try other locations and electrical outlets if ZEVO is not attracting flying insects. Q: Do Zero trap refills expire? That is to say, does the stickiness dry out inside the packaging within just a few months? I wonder if I stock up now (fall 2024) if traps will work 2025 warm months.

A: The refills, which are coated in glue on one side, have a shelf-life for best performance of 1 year but could be more or less dependent on environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

A: Our Zevo Trap was designed to attract and trap a variety of flying insects, particularly those attracted to our dual spectrum of blue & UV light. Controlled laboratory testing supports the claim that the Zevo Trap is effective against gnats, house flies, and fruit flies. Although we have not tested the effectiveness for stink bugs, we've heard from consumers that the Zevo Flying Insect Trap has also caught other flying insects.

For some reason they switched from clear sticky to a white color with blue writing and markings and now the fruit flies aren't remotely attracted to them. Also they aren't as sticky now - my clear ones would need to be replaced far more frequently just from dust or dog fur and the new white version isn't collecting any of that. I realize they want to avoid copyright infringement on the refill traps but they should just put the logo on the round grey top vs. ruining the effectiveness of the product.

I bought a STEM flying insects trap 4/7/25 after checking out the reviews between the STEM & ZEVO, STEM reviews said “works better than ZEVO… in a larger room (ie living room,etc) but I tried it in the kitchen & bathroom… I was very disappointed in the results… but threw the box away. I put the STEM in my living room by the patio sliding door & it does catch everything coming into the that room. I ended up buying 2 of the ZEVO & I LOVE IT!! It’s getting rid of the gnats & even mosquitos… the counter is no longer filled with dead gnats & the one in the kitchen is also catching everything that flies in there … ZEVO is definitely the BEST!!!

Photos of the refills that haven't caught anything. In my previous review, I mentioned that I've had these about 90 days. I purchased them in winter here in Detroit. I don't know if the cold weather is having an effect, but I am definitely not catching anything which is weird to my understanding of how zebo units work. If anything changes within the next 45 days, I will post another review. Prior to this I would have given zivo 10 Stars because it worked like a charm from spring to Summer and from fall into winter. But it has failed me from January to March of 2025

We're sorry your Zevo Flying Insect Trap isn't catching as many insects as you hoped. Our products go through lots of quality testing to ensure satisfaction, so we wouldn't expect you to be disappointed. We have a couple tips to share that may help the trap catch more of those pesky bugs. If the light is on and the trap isn’t catching bugs, it may have to do with placement. The traps work best when they’re in spots that are easily accessible to flying insects. Avoid placing in spots where it’s hard for flying insects to access, like behind furniture, curtains or other tucked-away spots. Many flying insects access homes near exterior doors, so if you have an outlet near one of those, it’s usually a good spot. To make the trap appealing to bugs, it’s best if it’s not placed near other lights at night. The blue and UV light attracts bugs to the trap and they can get confused or distracted by several light sources. We hope these tips are helpful, but we'd like to learn more and try to make things right for you. Please give us a call at (866) 215-1297.

Sprays and water treatments did not work and those yellow stick pads didn’t work either. Anyone who says otherwise is not being truthful. Worth the price. The inserts are replaceable.
