Newborn Must Haves
Diapering
In the first month of life, newborns typically need a diaper change 6–9 times a day. (Yes, really).
Nursing & feeding
Newborns only need breast milk or formula for their first few months of life—no solids necessary!
Clothes
The best day clothes are ones that are soft, snug & easy to take off for frequent diaper changes & spit-ups.
Bathing
Newborns can’t sit up on their own, so get a baby tub or seat to help support them as you suds and love ’em up.
Sleeping
Being born is hard work! Be prepared for Baby to sleep a lot and maybe get their days and nights confused.
Playing
It’ll be awhile before Baby can play, grab or move on their own. The right toys and gear help get Baby ready for every stage.
Leaving home
Your first day out with Baby is a big deal. Find what you need to leave with confidence and help keep Baby safe and content.
Soothing & comforting
Newborn babies are too young for medicine. If Baby has a fever or you think they might be sick, talk to your pediatrician.
