Q: May I safely scrub my marble or granite countertops with the more abrasive flex texture side of the sponge? Would it be scratch free on those surfaces?

For a while, it worked quite well. We got a 3 pack and we're pretty satisfied with it, but it leaves a bit to be desired. The biggest problem is lifespan. It's just too thin. The FlexTexture starts falling apart within a month of use, and the sponge side will fall apart not long after. The FlexTexture also loses its firmness after just a couple of weeks. This isn't as much of an issue on the main scrub daddy in my experience, so I think it's once again related to the fact that Sponge daddy is so thin. Overall, it's okay. I would recommend a real scrub daddy or at least a scrub mommy if you need that sponge side. In a pinch it works, but I would suggest their better products.

Although this absorbs water rather well, the wear down is definitely something not worth purchasing. The other reviews about lasting two weeks seems about right. It doesn’t sit right with me that little plastic pieces come off the scrubber side.. I very much enjoyed the absorbency and how little/to no smell there was but I also want to mention that this type of scrubber set doesn’t seem to be accepted for their recycling program.

I’ve tried many a sponge at this point. This one is by far the best. It’s the perfect size. The warm/soft and cold/hard feature makes it super versatile for various cleaning needs. I use it mainly to hand wash my dishes. Although it has torn, I can still say it’s pretty durable while being gentle on surfaces. I rate it a 4/5 because of how easy it did tear.

They’ve held up with heavy use. I haven’t had one single sponge fall apart. These clean for so long, And work really good. I love that food doesn’t stay stuck in the scrubby part. They clean up so quickly after cooked on stuff from pans. I use them all over the house for cleaning.
