Description

The Philips Avent Anti-colic nipple flow 1 is our slowest flow nipple, which is great for newborns and breastfeed babies learning to drink from a bottle. The anti-colic valve integrated in the nipple is designed to keep air away from your baby's tummy to reduce colic and discomfort. As your baby feeds, the valve flexes to allow air into the bottle to prevent vacuum build up and vents it towards the back of the bottle. It keeps air away from baby’s tummy to help reduce colic and discomfort. The nipple shape allows for a secure latch and the ribbed design helps prevents collapse for uninterrupted, comfortable feeding. The anti-colic nipple is made of flavorless, odorless, soft, silicone that resists discoloring and stickiness, a BPA free material. Philips Avent Anti-colic nipples are available in different flow rates, to keep up with your baby’s growth. We recommend replacing nipples every 3 months for hygiene reasons. Use Philips Avent Anti-colic bottles only with Philips Avent Anti-colic nipples. Includes 4 Flow 1 Anti-colic bottle nipples. SCY761/04

I had 9 ounce avent bottles that came with a nipple size 2, my baby isn't there yet. These have worked great, easily changeable. My baby latched on easy.

These have been great and I have enjoyed the event bottles. It seems that the flow rate is similar to the same level of a Dr. browns bottle

Nipples cracked within 2 weeks of use! How can they be suggesting to replace within 3 months if they are not even lasting past 2 weeks of use. I really like it for my baby but cracking after 2 weeks is pretty horrible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the stellar panel for providing me with the Philips Avent Anti-colic Baby Bottle Flow 1 Nipple, 2pk, to try and review. My baby had GERD and we found that these nipples were a great fit for our child. They have a small single hole in the nipple. It provided great constant and continuous flow and was not too fast. The formula collects in the tip at a consistently which gave him the ability to eat but it was not too fast where I would overfill his mouth. For a flow one type nipple it was absolutely amazing. They are easy to clean and dry quickly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the Phillips Avent anti-colic baby bottle nipples. I feel that the speed was perfect for my newborn who pulls too hard. The nipples are easy to wash. I even threw them into the dishwasher. They seem to withhold the pulling of my baby sucking. I do think these nipples helped with my daughters colic. I will be buying another pack of these. In my opinion they are great and I would recommend these. I received this bottle nipple set from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

    Philips is the Best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so happy to get the Philips Avent bottles as a product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel! We’re on our 2nd baby and after trying a ton of bottles with our 1st, we knew Philips was our go to. No leaks, both babes loved the nipples (either shape they have and a great range for flows) and they are sturdy bottles for every day use. We wash ours on the top rack of the dishwasher and have never had an issue. I would recommend these and all of the Philips bottles to any mom (or dad) out there!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for the Stellar Testing Panel. Unfortunately, my baby was not very fond of these bottles/nipples, just due to the fact that they were a bit big for her mouth, which is small due to growth issues. This is not the first bottle we’ve had this issue with, and in no way do I hold it against the product. So, I am not able to speak on how well the bottle worked for my baby, but I can speak on how it looks and things I found that by first child would have benefitted from. The nipple that comes with the bottle is a size two, which for my first baby would have meant that I’d have to buy separate nipples starting out, since he was breastfed and used a level one flow for a while. The good news is, they have plenty of options on nipple flow. Starting with this level one nipple, which is the slowest flow they have. All of the nipples for this bottle are the same size, which is an issue for my LO due to her small mouth. But, they are very flexible and very much comparable to a breast, which would make going back and forth between breast and bottle feeding much easier and not cause as much nipple confusion. I do think this nipple and bottle combo would help with reducing colic in a baby, just because of the way it works.

    Anticolic size 1

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have Philips Avent baby bottle nipple Size 1, which is for 0+. Stellar Product Testing Panel sent it to review and go e my thoughts. I like that there are different sizes which I think everyone should have for their little ones. The nipples are soft and make the switch between breast and bottle a little smoother. The flow was a little faster than the size 2 so I was uncomfortable with it but since my son is older both 1 and 2 are alright in flow. If he was younger I might be more concerned. I took a picture to show it was releasing a drop with no pressure. I still like size 1 and would definitely recommend but it was a bit faster in flow than the 2.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a great starting size for the nipple with our daughter. The size one had a great flow. Found our daughter liked it better with breast milk in it than formula for some reason so we switched between sizes. Love that they offer a variety of sizes for this reason! Thank you stellar reviews testing panel for providing me with this bottle nipple set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These nipples are easy to use and clearly marked with their flow rates. My breastfed baby easily accepted these nipples making for an easier feeding. My little one is 6 months old and flow 1 was too slow for her. She prefers flow 2 right now. Easy to clean and switch out with one at a different flow. I was given this bottle nipple set to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Avent products and I was able to test this through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. For the most part my 5 month old has used nipples with flow 1, but this one was very slow and she would get frustrated. She did better with flow 2 or 3 with this type of nipple.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these Philips Avent Anti-colic Baby Bottle Flow 1 Nipples from Stellar Product Testing panel for my honest review. My daughter is 4.5 months old and mostly breastfed however she is given bottles in order for her to be able to have the occasional sitter and for ease of use while traveling. We have struggled to find a bottle and nipple that doesn’t allow too much milk flow and give her air bubbles that makes her inconsolable and gassy through out the day. These Anti Colic Avent bottles and the variety of nipples they offer are a great way of trial and error to find the perfect fit for us. The level one nipple just has the 1 small opening and allows for a smooth flow of milk for our daughter that’s not too much. She likes level 1 the best for now, as she continues to grow we will up the level.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this bottle nipple set to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We add rice cereal to the bottle so I wasn’t able to use this level but this feature makes me love this line of bottles. The bottles will grow with your baby and then if you have other children you can use the same bottles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These nipples have been a game changer when it comes to taming my baby’s colic. I’ve noticed significant improvement on baby’s discomfort since changing to these nipples. The flow 1 nipples work best for us at this stage and seem to bring the most comfort to baby. I received this product from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These nipples are an honest slow flow. Some are much too fast for a breastfed baby but these are great. We stuck with these for a while before moving up. The labels on the nipples are clear and easy to read. There is no confusion because stage one has one hole, stage two has two holes, and stage three has three holes. We’ve moved up to the stage two now, which I think we’ll stay at, as long as he doesn’t choke or anything. I love Avent products and these do not disappoint! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this bottle nipple set.

    So Many Options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before I had my second child, I had no idea that some babies are (extremely!) picky when it comes to the specific bottle/nipple they will take. Baby #2 made this very clear to me when he came home from the NICU after 3 weeks and wouldn't take the bottles/nipples that we had used for our first child. It took many, many trials and many, many errors before we were able to find a bottle/nipple option he would accept. While the Philips Avent Anti-colic Baby Bottle Flow 1 Nipple did not end up being a nipple that my little one would accept, I will say that the variety of nipple choices available is spectacular. Having those different options will ensure that there is a flow-rate that is right for your baby that won't cause frustration, which often comes from a flow-rate that is too slow, or gas/tummy issues, which comes from a flow-rate that's too fast. Feeding issues can cause SO MUCH stress, so having different flow options, and having those options on hand the day you get home from the hospital to help avoid a feeding issue before it starts, is fantastic. I received this bottle nipple set from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
