Dawn Ultra Clean Scent Ez-Squeeze Dishwashing Liquid Dish Soap

This style bottle seems to last longer than the traditional bottle.

I love the squeeze bottle, hate the smell. Being very sensitive to the scents of most cleaners, which trigger headaches, Dawn was one of the few products that didn't bother me. And now it does! I've been using the free and clear kind now which is fine. But I don't understand why such an excellent product needed changing.

I just bought some Dawn EZ Squeeze, Green Apple dish soap. It smells nothing like green apples. It stinks like chemicals.

Why would you add so much scent now? You had a working formula and people buy this because of how it cleans and they don't want the smell... If people want the smell there are lots and lots of other products they can buy. The whole thing smells of some kind of marketing idea... I hope you realize that was a disaster. Bring back the original and test run it against the new clean scent.

The new scent smells so bad, I'm going to have to donate or throw out the bottle. It reminds me of the smell of nursing homes ... like a stomach churning floral scent used to mask something awful. It's disgusting.

The New Scent needs to go! I want to know who was in the focus group that picked this - it is HORRIBLE. Please go back to the ORIGINAL scent.

The new formula does not create the same amount of suds as the old formula and the suds that are created dissipate after a few minutes.

I have just now came acrossed this" new "scent. It smells like a bad overwhelming floral scent much like they use on toilets. The scent lingers in the skin and ever surface you put it on.

Joining the fray. I recently finished the last of a previous (apparently original scent) Dawn and picked up a new bottle. I smelled it while washing my first set of dishes and thought "is this actually the right smell?". I finished washing the dishes and left the kitchen, returned later to get something and was aware that I smelled a sickly sweet unpleasant smell in the whole kitchen.... and went to smell the bottle - sure enough, it was the new Dawn. Why, oh why. It's most definitely some artificially created chemical with incredible staying power and pungency that Dawn chemists thought would be an improvement, but there is no fooling the nose - it's UNNATURAL. The original Dawn actually smelled clean and simple and natural, now it smells like it was modified out of petrochemicals in a lab process. This is not a matter of personal taste, this is genuinely a noxious lab-created scent not found in nature. I always get blue Dawn because I think of it as the gold-standard that they use to clean oil spills off ducks and marine life - but I feel like this scent is going to ruin that because it will probably interfere with nature at a hormonal level not to mention whatever functions marine life needs based on scents. I see that there is an unscented version but would like the actual original scent to return. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Clean Scent Is nasty. The original Dawn scent was the cleanest best smelling dish soap around. That is why I chose it over Palmolive. Back to Palmolive now as I csnt stand the new scent and threw all 5 bottles I ordered away. Even my friends wouldn't take it because of the nasty smell.

I thought I would love this because it is always ready to go. There is no lid to idem and close, and you don't have to wait for the soap to get to the opening. I did love it until I saw that there was muck around the cap. It was really nasty. There was never a chance for it to dry. Even when I cleaned it and started keeping it in an area where there was good airflow, it didn't help much. I've gone back to the classic bottle, and I won't be purchasing it again.

I love the scent and effectiveness of this soap. It’s a great value for the money and works every time. My dishes always come out looking spotless and clean. Highly recommend.

I was tricked into buying your new scent Blue Dawn dish soap. I will never buy it again. Sadly. That's all we used to use in our household was Blue Dawn dish soap for everything. We do not use Blue Dawn to soap in our household because of the scent. Just like everybody else, remove the scent and go back to the old formula.

I love this dish soap! It is Super convenient to use, no opening the top, just squeeze and you are set. The soap smells great, suds like no other and really cleans. It only takes a small amount of soap to do an entire sink full. My hands don’t dry out and it lasts forever. Great value what you get!

Please please please return to the original scent. The new fresh scent is far from fresh and so overpowering. I actually really looked forward to the original scent. Based on similar reviews I recommend you dump the fresh scent and return us to normalcy. There is enough change in the world.

Have you noticed that the only positive reviews are coming from "Influenster"? Every other single review for people that actually spent their hard earned money buying this garbage has been honest in saying that it smells putrid. I haven't used Dawn dish soap in close to a year since the original scent went away.

I do not like the new scent. I grew up on Dawn and remember the original scent. This new scent it’s not the same, it smell funny. Don’t think I will be buying Dawn anymore.

I have used Dawn for years but cannot handle the new scent. I tried but the smell is so bad I cannot do it.
