Let's start from the moment I opened the box. 1. The padded gig bag is nice and a comfortable fit for the guitar. It doesn't slide around in the bag at all. 2. The action is near perfect out of the box. Definitely adequate for immediate playing. 3. The fret ends are super-clean! No rough edges and feels more like a $800 guitar than an $80 guitar. 4. Tuners seem to be holding tune well 5. The humbucker pickup is...a humbucker pickup. Nothing special here. 6. Pots work well and aren't scratchy or loose. This guitar is an amazing buy for $80.
