Very high quality. I like that some of the fibers are different lengths. For example, on the flowers, the fibers on the inside of the petals that are a different color are shorter, giving the rug a lot of dimension. The overall rug itself is quite dense and heavy. I certainly did not expect it to be so nice for this price!

I guess not necessary, but a nice addition to the rug we bought, the pad adds a touch of elegance to the feel of the rug when it's walked on. I recommend getting this inexpensive add-on. Again, not necessary but a very nice touch.

I bought this to keep the rug I purchased from sliding around on the hardwood floors in a high traffic area of my house. It worked so well, I actually trimmed off some of the edges to use under other smaller rugs around the house. Worked like a charm.
