Terrible!

The new sulfate free formula sucks, it doesn’t clean the body well and it leaves residue on my skin feeling sticky. Please bring back the previous formula with sulfate.

Great smell

Makes the bathroom smell, with just small amount. Imagine how great we smell. Cleansing the body well for a good day. Packaging is great, but both end could be flat to be placed either way.

Unhealthy ingredients

Product works as intended and is better quality than most BUT, one look at the ingredients list and went straight to the garbage. All the nonsense COAL-TAR based dyes put into this product are probably the only thing making it a decent product rather than an excellent product. Blue 1, Red 33, and Yellow 5. Red 33 isn’t approved by FDA for consumption in any amount and yet you put it on your skin?

I would not recommend Extra Fresh for anyone with sensitive skin or eyes. This body wash can cause eyes and skin to burn for days.

Dove Men + Care ingredient change caused hives

I have always used Dove mens care 2 and 1 hair products and body washs. This week I purchased some more of the extra fresh 24 hour nourishing micromoisture body and face wash and my body. Broke out in hives. Took me a few days to figure out what was causing it. I didn't use it for three days. Then I took a shower and only washed my feet with it, and the tops of my feet were Inflamed and red and itchy. Next day I switched to Nivea Men Maximum Hydration 3 in 1 body wash and my shin has cooled down and is recovering. Hopefully the further I get from my Dove men care use, the better it gets.

Great Product!

Great product, poor bottle design

Great smelling scent with great foaming action. This was a free promotion item if purchased with another product. While I like the product, I gave it 3 stars because of the stupid design of the bottle. Do companies not try out their products? Who ever designed and approved this bottle needs to be fired. The flip top is on the bottom and it has to be closed between every use to stand it upright as top is rounded and flip top fills with product between uses and makes a mess when reopened.

Chronic facial issues cleared up

For about a year I have been wrestling with the facial products dance. Not only did it cost money but a lot of products didn’t work or made my face worse even after following suggested treatments from dermatologist. It wasn’t until I found pictures of when my skin was clear and I remembered I only used Dove plus men care at the time. So I said it couldn’t be that simple , sure enough , it’s been about 32 days and my skin has been clearing up. Old scars have been literally drying up and disappearing. I had tried a retinol low dose which also didn’t work but cause more damage. Dove is the perfect cleansing , astringent agent without the heavy abrasive properties some acne soaps have. I am mixed Black and Native American so my skin is difficult to find proper balance. Now I just pair the wash with the moisturizer and I’m good to go. No five step process needed, no special expensive products.
