Seresto Small Dog collars make your dog’s comfort a priority by killing fleas and ticks on contact, so pests don’t have to bite your dog to die. Existing fleas die within 24 hours after initial application of the collar. After 24 hours, any new fleas on the dog are killed within 2 hours with protection against further flea infestation lasting 8 months. The prevention of infestations with new ticks starts at 48 hours after application of the collar. 48 hours after application, any new ticks are repelled and/or killed in as quickly as 6 hours. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is decent. It worked on my small miniature poodle dog who hates collars but it actually helped everything and made him less itchy. I did give him a bath before putting this on and he still is currently wearing it. He doesn’t pick at it or scratch at it. It doesn’t have a smell or anything.

This collar was literally a perfect fit and it’s so light he doesn’t even realize it’s on. He’s been wearing it for over a month and it’s been effective. So far so good!

They fit they perfectly and are very strong made so you don’t have to worry about them coming off. And the scent isn’t bad either so that’s a big plus. They keep my babies safe so that’s what matters.

Ticks can be dangerous for dogs and humans! 🙅♀️ After trying the Seresto flea and tick collar for small dogs, I’m so relieved knowing he’s protected, and for up to 8 months too!! The collar came in a sturdy metal tin and was sealed inside a plastic bag. Once I put it on him, I was impressed because it’s lightweight, comfortable, and doesn’t leave any greasy residue or smell like others I’ve tried. It’s been over two weeks now, and not only has it not come off but I also haven’t seen a single flea or tick! 🙏The fact that it lasts 8 months is a huge plus, especially since Mr. Milo rolls in the dirt, plays in the grass, and even goes on small hikes with us. In the unboxing photo I posted, you can see that it has ridges which help it stay secure and not come off. It’s waterproof, too, which is essential because he needs frequent baths (fluffy white dog problems lol!). Another big win is that it also protects against lice, giving me extra peace of mind and quite frankly it just makes it even more worth it to buy. Since Mr. Milo has outdoor allergies and gets itchy, I don’t want to second-guess whether bugs are making it worse. Plus, with raccoons and other wildlife passing through our yard, I worry about what they might leave behind, but this collar seems like it will help keep him safe. Final thoughts? This collar actually stays put, works great, and gives me total peace of mind while Mr. Milo enjoys being the happy, playful pup he is. If your small dog loves the outdoors like mine, I highly recommend it! 🙌

Unfortunately I received it during Winter, where I live there is a lot of snow and we couldn't walk in the forest where my dog previously got a lot of ticks. But we did in others places and he didn't get any. I would definitely continue to use and highly recommend!!

I opened the tin and found the collar to be fully wrapped in plastic and opened it once I was ready to put it on my pup. It is get in color and has notches that it catches on to fit it to his neck. It has a neutral smell, which surprised me, as most collars have a strong odor. The scent is not strong. The directions say it will work for 8 months of prevention and treatment of ticks, fleas, and lice. He's never had any, but prevention is key to his outdoor activities.
