It is super cute and easy to put together but as we were putting it together, one of the holes for the bolts was not drilled through all the way so we had to do that and one of the sides where the hinges go, was cracked before we even got to put the screws in so we had to move it. So the hinges are not even to each other but it works.

I really like this toy chest. However, the lid had a crack in the wood where the hinge gets screwed into. I did not notice the crack until I had already put almost all of it together. My husband says he doesn't think the lid will last because the crack in the wood will cause the wood to break and the hinge to come off. I am definitely disappointed to have received a broken lid.

It was missing several parts, holes not drilled completely through. Lid holes completely off and had to drill. On Christmas Eve put together as a gift and it was pretty disappointing, would have returned it under other circumstances.
