A: Manufactured, honestly its not very well made, the sides of mine came apart my husband used Gorilla glue to secure it back together.

This arrived damaged. It’s covered in black scuff marks & the piece that runs along the top is cracked on both sides in different spots. Clearly very cheap. The cracks are too noticeable to keep so I’ll be returning this.

The toy chest is great. It’s not too big and bulky but instead, just right. It holds a ton of large toys so that my son’s room isn’t filled with big toys.

The screws for one of the hinges popped out after just a few months, so the lid no longer stays open on its own. It was disappointing something like that happened so quickly just from normal use, especially given the cost. Otherwise, it seemed like good quality and is very roomy.

We bought this chest because a friend had it and loved it. The first one we received had issues - predrilled holes not properly lined up, splitting wood when you barely start to tighten the screws - so we exchanged it thinking we got a lemon. We received the replacement and had the same issues plus additional ones (spotty paint job, chipped wood, and the pre installed hinges were super crooked). Such a disappointment considering how many positive things I’ve heard about this brand over the years. It is not worth the $150. Save yourself a headache and buy a different toy chest.

Took me maybe 20 minutes to put together, instructions were clear, and beautiful outcome! Definitely worth the money, and the perfect size! Not too big, not too small. Very grateful for the lid supports, to keep my little one from slamming their fingers! If your thinking about buying, do it! Worth the money and great product!

We purchased one a few years ago and had no issues. Just purchased on in April and the kid is discoloring where there appears to be knots in the wood. They’re showing through the paint as off colored and yellow and it’s not pleasant. Target offered no help since we’re just over the return window. I wouldn’t recommend, not worth it for the price after how it looks after only 3 months.

This toy box was a great size, plenty of space for toys. Got this for my nephew and personalized it. My only concern is the screws when putting it together. The screws created cracks. And the lid doesn’t close completely. Other then that it’s a great toy box.
You can find better quality for cheaper. Don't buy!

Junk. Predrilled screw holes aren’t measured correctly, came dinged up, lid doesn’t close properly. Way too expensive for what it is. Had much higher expectations. I really should return it. It would if I didn’t waste all my time putting it together and it wasn’t so heavy. Don’t waste your money. You can find much better quality for cheaper.

A sturdy, well made piece of furniture! This toy chest is all wood - no pressboard. The lid stays open when lifted for safety. Lots of storage space. The price is so reasonable.
