When I got these, I needed a pair of utility scissors because my old ones were falling apart. I didn't pay attention to the fact that these had a holder - I just noted they were on sale and seemed sturdy. They are super well-made and the magnetic holder that fits on the side of my fridge is so handy. I always know where my scissors are now.

So far so good! I really like the magnetic sheath that is included. Hangs right on the fridge.
