This is a nice and sturdy bookshelf. It was easy and fast to put together PLUS it fits perfectly in my closet! I’ve been using targets cubby storage bookshelves for years as an organiser for my folded jeans- and this one is the best so far! I only give one point off as it was broken when I opened the box- it had a puncture/ caved in spot around the size of a quarter on two of the baseboards. Honestly this doesn’t bother me too much as again, it is for my closet. I just wish I didn’t pay full price for a damaged item! Overall, I would recommend this product completely and it will be perfect for your space- for books, clothes or more!

The Ik*a Kallax version is much better quality for the same price, both in terms of the painted white finish and the sturdiness of the furniture. I have owned and assembled both versions. Also this brightroom version has a proposition 65 warning that it exposes you to formaldehyde gas. That was a big no for a child’s bedroom so I returned them. These are much more wobbly than the competitor version and would definitely have to be anchored to the wall, even if you don’t have small children. They do make that very clear on the instructions though and mounting hardware is included. Instructions were easy to follow.

I am a scrapbooker who works in the 12" album size. I purchased a 9-cube and a 6-cube in the 13" bin size. The 13" bin size is perfect for both the supplies I use and the scrapbook albums themselves. The 9-cube was a little more difficult for me to assemble than the 6-cube, but definitely worth the muscle effort it took to put it together.

I have these same type cube shelves from other places - the kallax and better homes & gardens. Both of those are better than these. These are thin and flimsy. Two shelves were listed straight from the box. Some of the screws were not threaded and could not be used. Would definitely purchase another brand if I were to buy another. Would not recommend.

This is exactly what I was looking for to add more storage to my home office. I put it together by myself in about 75 minutes. Some of the reviews said it wasn’t that sturdy, but I found it to be perfectly acceptable for under $100. There is another Target Brand of these for less, but I think the quality on this one is better. I even ordered the add-on doors for closed storage.

It was mostly what I expected except die the screw holes being off on one of the top/bottom pieces. It caused it to be uneven. Of course, it was the very last piece of putting it together and I'm not taking it all apart and going through the hassle of trying to return it. But I'm disappointed and won't likely buy this type of furniture like this here again
