I bought this bulb for a lamp that I actually got from Target a couple of months ago. I wanted to have some multi-colored light in my room to make the space feel a little cozier. I am so glad that I went for this bulb specifically because there truly are millions of color options and you can do it all from your phone. Having no remote, in my opinion, makes things a lot easier! This little bulb really brightens up my room and I am very happy with it. And, if I ever don't want any color in my room, I can just go through the list of preset "neutral" colors.

I love the customized light shows and Candle light! High recommend if you are a "No Big Lights Ever" type like me!

My wife loves these light bulbs especially for the holidays, she loves changing the lighting colors to match the décor. The color sync app & color wheel is easy to use, and the true image technology worked great, and you can even use your voice to turn on lights with Alexa or Hey Google. I like that you are able to sync the lights to be a certain color or warmth for day or night and even to your sleep/wake cycle and control even when away from home. Overall, the Dynamic Effects A19 bulb is one of the better bulbs for changing the colors of the room, the bulb is decently priced and well worth every penny. Highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dynamic effects bulb is much fun! I first had it set up in my “gaming” room and after a couple of weeks of using it, it disappeared! My daughter took it to her apartment to try it out in her kitchen. So it’s mother and daughter approved! I have had similar bulbs in the past but they did not offer all the features and the quality was not as great. GE is a trusted brand for me and I did not worry about having this bulb in a light socket at my house. You can use the color features which are a lot of fun, or just set it with regular room lighting. I have RGB lights all o ER my gaming set up so of course I like the option of having the app and choosing all sorts of colors to light up the room. We all use Alexa and Google in the house so using voice commands to turn the lights on or off was an added perk. The app is easy to download and use and the music sync makes it so much fun. I tried it in a socket on my ceiling fan light in my gaming room, as well as a shelf tower lamp fixture I have in the same room. My daughter has uses it in her kitchen and I’ve gotten it back to put in the bedroom lamp and see how I like it there. Love the bulb and want to get more! No more cheapo, no name brand bulbs for me!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to install and fairly easy to connect to the app. You must install an app to control the light which makes it harder to use in some areas of the house unless multiple people all download the app as well. For example i wanted it in the kids playroom but to make it fun they would need the app downloaded on a device for it to be used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had this light bulb for about a month now and my daughter loves it! She replaced a standard bulb in her ceiling fan light with this one. Cync has its own app that is quick to download and easy to follow. My preteen was able to have it set up and working within minutes of downloading the app. I also was able to sync it to our Alexa app so that I control it from there as well. Her only gripe is that she wants me to get more of this bulb so she can replace the other bulbs in her room with one of these as well!

It is easy to connect through the app and the light features were easily controlled without a problem. The color settings that you can change it to are phenominal. The different moods you get from the settings are great. So if you are looking for a bulb that gives out numerous effects take a jab at the Dynamic Effects A19 and see how you like it. I do recommend this product.

It's not extremely bright when using the colors on it, but she loves the rainbow setting and it stays on the last setting when turned off and back on. She sleeps with the rainbow setting on all night and it works well as a night light in a lamp.

You can easily control the color and brightness from your phone, and turn it on and off using voice commands Google assistant or Amazon Alexa. Couldn't be happier with this bulb!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have voice-controlled lighting in several rooms in my house, and when the chance came to try Alexa-controlled color changing recessed lighting for my kitchen, I was very interested. There are multiple presets for multicolor functioning, but they are all a little dim to be usable for everyday use. The good news is that you can also set these lights to soft white, warm white, etc. and on the soft white setting they are just as bright as the regular LEDs they are replacing. I keep saying "they" because I liked the one I received to review so much I paid for two more to round out the lights in my kitchen. They're a bit pricey, but I really like being able to say "Alexa, turn off the lights" as I leave the room (or from my bedroom if I forget).
