This Cync bulb offers exactly what I was looking for! First, it's a long-lasting LED. I'm not going to need to replace this thing anytime soon. Second, the multiple color options offer the ability to change the ambiance/mood as needed. Really is a cool effect. Third, the app is super easy to use. I was able to adjust the settings to exactly what I needed really easily, and now it just works. I can turn it on/off through the app easily. Great smart bulb! I'm now looking for more of them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son and I love this color changing bulb, we installed it on his nightstand in less than 5 mins, and I downloaded the app on the iPad, we also have google home, so it is pretty easy to control the brightness and change the colors of the bulb to our liking and mood! And when my son is asleep, I turn off the lamp remotely thru the app! Bright accurate colors, gives the room ambient we want!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The GE Direct Connect Smart Light works great! The switch for our living room lamp is difficult to access and this is a great solution. I downloaded the Cync App on my Pixel/Android phone and it walked me through a straightforward setup and updates. Within the app, you can create custom device names, groupings, room locations and add favorite settings. We use Alexa products, and I was able to easily pair it with our Alexa devices to control the light through it but you can access all settings directly through the GE app if you don't have Alexa or Google. In addition to a vast array of colors as well as the basic cool white and warm white, you can use their predesigned settings such as early morning, sunrise, sunset, candlelight, etc. to match your current need as well as adjust brightness. It works great and now that we have successfully tested it out, we will be adding other GE lights and devices to our home.

This lightbulb makes it easier to schedule it to turn off. It is very easy to install and use and I like that it can be controlled with google home.

I really like that this bulb creates different color schemes and was easy to set up. Having it be on warmer colors makes the room comfortable and appealing. It connected quickly to my existing lighting system and has been simple to use. A big fan.

The set up is very easy; just install the Cync app on your smartphone, follow the directions and in less than 5 mins everything's connected and ready to go. You can control the color and the brightness of the light bulb all from your phone. The light bulb can be used without syncing it to your Alexa or Google home. I don't have it connected to anything but the required app and it works wonderfully. You can save your favorite color/light combo and easily switch to them in your favorites list. It's been nice to have specific light settings for different times of the day & activities.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I joke and tell my daughter this is her mood light! She loves her Cync - Direct Connect Full Color ST19 Smart Bulb. We easily put it into her single bulb light on her ceiling fan. She put the app on her phone and she has a google mini in her room which she linked the bulb too. Probably took less than 5 minutes total. Now she makes her room any color she wants, watching movies she dims her light. Doing her class work she is still ble to use as a normal light bulb, which is important. But music time or movie time is always a different color. Even FaceTime she’s always changing the color

I can get the bulb to turn on and off with the app but cannot program or change the colors or themes. I am pretty teck savvy and have other smart bulbs. I think I need to spend more time familiarizing myself with the app a bit more and will probably adjust well enough with it.

I really appreciate that there were no add-ons or real assembly needed. All I had to do was screw it in and download the Cync app. My internet was easily found and the app walks you through everything. The Cync app is quite easy to use, from powering on and off the bulb to changing it to one of the many color selections available.
