This product is way below sub-standard. It is very cheaply made -the screw holes did not line up when trying to install the handle. VERY heavy and clunky and suction was mediocre at best. We returned this item within 2 days.

I had an Orick years ago and loved it. Recently, I purchased a commercial XL vacuum thank goodness I did not get rid of my shark vacuum the oreck didn't pick up after taking it apart checking for clogs I came to the realization that I did not have a bag port not knowing if this model required one. I emailed tech-support that was four weeks ago and I have heard nothing back so I just have a very large door stop at this point

I have not used very much, so a 5-star rating is still very possible. Lightweight, long cord and nice solid unit. Bags are large as well. Classic no nonsense design and engineering.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had an Oreck years and loved it. Finally got another one and it is defective. Works two or three times, then the belt comes off. We take the back off and put the belt back on, then it works for another 2 or 3 times.
I cannot rave enough about my new Oreck vacuum!
