Q: is it good on thick carpet?

A: NO! No shark is- even a soft carpet or rug that doesn’t even look long it’ll get stuck, and stop- or suck it into the machine. It’s crazy. Otherwise I love shark but

This vacuum would be fine if it cost $50 but for the price and the brand I expected a lot more. My dyson died and I needed a replacement quick. I've heard that Shark is just as good as design but costs less so I tried this one. While it does have good suction any pros end there. Cons: -Its bulky and not ergonomic at all. The weight is not distrubuted well and I end up with a hand cramp after vacuuming. -The cord is short - It tips over if you aren't holding it when you use the hose. -You have to constantly adjust the settings if you are going between carpets and hardfloors and end up having to turn it off and on because it jams. -With my dyson I could leave the attachements on the hose even when I wasn't using the hose which saved me a step. With this its more steps to use the hose and put it back so it makes vaccuming a room less effecient. It is absolutely not worth the price and it feels like whoever designed it never actually used it. I will never buy a shark vacuum again and will stick with dyson.

This is my 4th shark vacuum product they are really the best this new version has easier release button to remove hose it also has a larger cannister also with having 3 pets the hepa filter definitely helps and works i would absolutely continue to purchase shark products and always recommend.

The suction is great. Used it on my bare floors and it works wonders. This vacuums legit. Only drawback is the hose seems short but it’s a brand new vacuum so it may take time to stretch a little.

I have purchased two of these in the last two months for job sites. They did did such a great job cleaning up/ sucking up the drywall dust. I was amazed they could handle it and pick it up so well. I probably need to change the filter but just amazed it didn't choke.
