CeraVe Gentle Scalp Care Shampoo - 12 fl oz

I’m not aware of my scalp at all!!!! I used to have an occasional itch, not anymore! I even had my hair colored and my scalp felt completely normal afterwards….amazing. It takes about 2 weeks to adjust to no scent when you shampoo & condition but it’s totally worth it to feel comfortable. My only request is that they sell it in large jugs with pumps. The bottles are top heavy because they’re tall and skinny. You won’t regret buying this.

I love Cera Ve skincare products and I can say that they do just as fantastic a job with their hair care quality as they do with their skincare. My number one favorite thing about this set is although it's tough on dirt, grease, and grime within our hair and scalp, it doesn't strip your hair OR scalp leaving dry, brittle feeling hair or a flaky scalp. It's made without MIT ingredients that are known to cause allergic reactions for some people and better yet it really does calm and soothe scalp inflammation. Oddly enough, I've noticed various shampoos I've tried doing this exact thing to my scalp and I just dealt with it, but with Cera Ve's Shampoo & Conditioner I don't have to worry about that uncomfortable feeling 30 minutes or sometimes longer after showering. If I'm nitpicking, I do wish these 2 had just a super light, subtle fresh and clean or floral scent of some sort instead of being completely fragrance free, but it's not a total deal breaker. But that's the only con I can come up with because they are that great.

I’ve been struggling for the last 3 years with dry scalp which I assume is the main contributing factor to my hair loss. I’ve tried several different shampoos and conditioners to manage my hair loss and brittle dry hair. I’ve been a long time user of CeraVes acne control cleanser and moisturizers and refuses to use any other brand of cleanser + moisturizer so I have decided to give the shampoo and conditioner a go, I am immensely impressed and I’m highly convinced that this shampoo + conditioner duo is saving my scalp and my hair. My hair has never felt so clean, moisturized and soft. I switched over to this product from Herbal Essences about 2 weeks ago and I can already feel and see such a difference in my scalp from trying almost every shampoo brand at the store. 10/10

I have a super sensitive scalp and find that most shampoos make my head itch. No itch at all! About to buy my second bottle. I’ve been using Pureology Hydratefor the past two years and like this one so much more. Better price too. I have thick wavy/curly hair.

It was well packed although I think there should be a better design on the bottle as it is kind of plain. As far as the scent I would prefer something that smells more fruity.

My hair was very dry and breaking off badly, however it didn’t take long for this shampoo to help it feel soft, healthy, and shiny again! There was no scent to it which I very much appreciate as well.. it came very well packaged and the bottle was very durable during me trip. It didn’t come open or break during traveling which was a great thing! I HIGHLY recommend this shampoo. There’s one catch…because this is a hydrating shampoo after using it for about a week it did start to make my hair feel weighed down and I started to lose some of my curls while it felt a little greasy by the next morning. Overall though I loved this shampoo and will definitely use as a supplement for when my hair is in need of a good treatment!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I think this shampoo is a great choice because I can feel my scalp cleaner since the first application. I love that other doesn’t have a scent, which is perfect for me since I have sensitive skin. Also, I like that it’s affordable.

This is the first shampoo I have used that actually took away my dry, itchy, eczema prone scalp. I used Cereve's 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner dandruff shampoo every other day for about 3 weeks and then switched to this one and my scalp is the best it has been in years. Highly recommend these 2 products. Worked 100% for me and I have tried so many others.

I had dried fine color treated hair. Used many different expensive shampoos and conditioners and could not even lather my hair up without it ending in a wet foaming ball feeling like straw. Then I would have to put a lot of conditioner in it to untangle my hair. Not good for fine hair. Plus I suffer from migraines that can be set off by fragrance. Even the overly scented Hydration Therapy, Strengthening Therapy, and the Bonding Therapy shampoos and conditioners did not help and made my hair heavy! This shampoo plus the conditioner has helped my pixie styled fine color treated hair without the smell of other shampoo and conditioners. Now if they made a few more hair products I not have to worry about fragrances again! Thanks CeraVe!

My hair has been quite fragile ever since I got Covid. I have learned a few tricks as to how to keep it healthy, but decided to buy this shampoo and conditioner combination on a whim to see if it would help my situation. I feel like if more people knew about how amazing this shampoo and conditioner is, it would be flying off the shelf. I am hard-pressed to say just how incredible this product is because I will not be able to find it if people figure out just how amazing it is, but I also want the company to continue making it and so I need to share the level of gentleness and volume that this product gives. Wash your hair every day. I would highly recommend this product.
