Q: Why do you advertise your all of your free and clear products as such when they all have a scent? In addition to skin sensitives I have asthma & scents(especially from cleaning items) really bother me

A: I have COPD and asthma and also have the hardest time finding affordable scent free for the dishwasher. I use Finish Quantum and that has helped me and they work great.

Q: It says dye-free (liquid top), but colorant is one of the first ingredients- there is dye in the powder part!! This is misleading and greenwashing! When will a completely dye-free option be available?

A: That's a great question. The formulations will be different. This detergent also is dye free and has a lemon scent to it.

I love these dishwasher pods. They clean well and the scent is very light. It’s the only dishwasher pod that cleans well and doesn’t leave a scent/taste on my plastic dishes. I removed 2 stars because they reduced the number of pods (15 less!) but are charging the same price as before. There used to be 62 pods and now there are only 47. I’m very disappointed.

Holy cow, going from 62 to 47 pods for the same price (or actually more, used to be 62 for under 20)! These was the only dishwasher detergent that worked and didn’t give me a migraine from fragrance but the price gouging is out of control.

NEGATIVE: I was looking for something "Free & Clear". I thought I found it, but unfortunately this isn't it. It's truly not "Free & Clear". Your "lemon essence" sadly does not smell lemony (more of a strong floral chemical smell) which permeates everything! My dishes, glassware, silicone utensils and plastic items all smell chemically and I cannot get the smell off of them! POSITIVE: On a positive note, the detergent cleans dishes EXTREMELY WELL, but why is "Fragrance" needed on a "Free & Clear" product. This could be a 5 based on the cleaning ability of the product, but the "scent" makes it a 1 since I can't use it.

The dishwasher has been having issues cleaning dishes these past few months. We've tried several different brands in an attempt to fix the problem, but nada. We don't like the smells and tastes of regular Cascade, it tends to linger on the dishes. This product cleans better than all the other brands we've tried and doesn't leave behind the perfume we dislike. I'm sold!

Bought this based on Wirecutter's recommendation on a mild but effective dishwasher detergent. Well it is a great cleaner but it is ANYTHING BUT MILD. Our Corelle plates had their edges all frayed after 1 run of this detergent. I've used cascade platinum without issue in the past though. Further, the fragrance is VERY STRONG. You can smell and taste tbe fragrance (especially on silicone and plastics) even after rinsing the dishes once. We have soft water Incase that's a factor. Overall I had not expected to have rerinse each dish out of a freshly washed load just to get rid of the smell. And I certainly didn't expect all my dishes to have worn edges after this cascade pod. Disappointed that cascade would misleading product. There really should be a "clean" alternative that leaves zero (or at most 5% of current) fragrance, yet cleans thoroughly and does not destroy dishes (does this last one even need to me spelled out?! Gosh)

Not Free and Clear has a strong lemon scent and I can taste it on silicon items that are cleaned in the dishwasher. After using the tab when I open the dishwasher the scent is very strong. It does a great job cleaning my dishes but I cannot handle the scent and taste on some of my dishes. I hope they will consider making a product without a scnt as this works better than other tabs I have tried.

Why do you add a scent????? I think that I speak for a lot of consumers when I say that we don't care if the dishwashing detergent has a fragrance. In fact, we'd prefer it didn't. On what planet did you think up the idea that consumers want their dishes and dishwasher scented? We just want clean dishes.
