Turned on by itself in kid's backpack because power button is raised and easily pressed. Caught kid's hair- had to cut it out. Somewhere in the hair catching and removing, the blades got flattened so no air moved through anymore. New batteries and the motor kind of winds up and smells a little. This is all day 1. It's worse than junk.

Over the summer some days require something extra for the heat. After showering I don't want to sweat, this helps. On the car ride when the windows are down, a small spritz adds the right feel. During a few minutes relaxing to myself outside this was a great cooling unit for some warm weather. I was glad it had 1. A place to add a lanyard or other way to keep the fan suspended, 2. A firm battery compartment that stays clicked closed, 3. Multiple colors to choose from especially the fun one that I chose, pink! As always- Go swimming all summer and use this in between!
