Q: Is this the same as bulgogi sauce or is there a difference?

A: I use this in my Korean Bulgogi dinner every time and it’s amazing. I cook it in with the beef. If you look up what Bulgogi sauce is it’s just Korean BBQ sauce and this does say it’s a “sauce & marinade” so you could definitely use it!

The flavor was authentic, but didn't overpower the flavor of the salmon. It was easy to add to the fish and only took 30 minutes to marinate. I would definitely try this sauce again! I tried this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

The instructions say to marinate your choice of meat for 30 mins., however, I marinated the chicken for 8 hours and then broiled it. I didn't really care for the flavor profile, but then again, this isn't something I'd normally reach for. At least I was able to try it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this marinade on thin sliced pork chops for an hour. I then cooked them on the stovetop and the sauce caramelized nicely. We topped some bibimbap with the pork and more reduced marinade and it was delicious! The flavor was sweet and tangy with almost no heat which was perfect for our toddler. She kept saying "more sauce" and loved to mix it with her rice so 5 stars from a 2 year old too! We added chili flakes to our bowls to add heat. Overall I recommend this product and I would definitely buy it again in the future.
