(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) It was easy to use as all the instructions were there. Just like any box dye the color won’t be exact since you’re not bleaching your hair first but overall it was great at covering some of my grays and adding a lighter color to my overall shade!

Please specify what shade you used in your review! Since all shades are thrown together for reviews of brand. I really like this. I used medium ash blonde, it's always out of stock so I pick it up at Walgreens, it won't turn your hair green. Warmer tone, a bit neutral but it looks natural and covers white hairs well. Smells good.

I’ve using clairol 7A for years. My God! The moment this new formula touched my head and skin it was burning flames!! So harsh on the skin. I couldn’t stand it for minutes I had to wash my hair. Target shipped the product and the box was damaged too, as if it was a return from another customer!! Unfortunately, Bad product, bad service!! I’ll never buy Clairol products again. Never by use shipping from target again

This made my hair DARKER ! I had lightened my hair back in November to a really light brown. I bought this thinking it would help lighten my hair a bit more. Instead it practically reverted my hair to its original dark brown !!! Just a shade or two lighter !!! How does this make your hair DARKERRR???

It works great on my gray hairs around the temples. My last purchase was a different shade and it had too much red-tones in it. This was much better for my original hair color and lasts a while.
Covered all of my greys!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perhaps it was due to my growing age, or even stress, but I was experiencing what felt like a sudden growth spurt of white and grey hairs throughout my head. I was initially going to purchase Root Touch up by Clairol so that I could just deal with my roots, but I decided to get the Nice’n Easy permanent hair color. I think that I was pretending that I actually had more hair that I actually did in convincing myself that this was what I needed. I ended up using only a third of the bottle since I wanted to just target my roots. Now, whenever I used boxed hair dye, I always made sure to start with oily hair because of the subsequent drying effects of hair dye, which effectively worked like a de-greasing shampoo. I followed the instructions that came with the bottle and put the gloves on to mix the two bottles together into the applicator bottle. I forgot that the the application was going to be a bit more runny than what a root touch up would be like. I knew that this was an all over hair color but I decided to use this hair color for my roots only. So, I applied the color with the applicator about an inch or two from my roots for about 25 minutes and showered the color off my hair. The result of a full coverage of my grey hair. Not so clever on my part was the assumption that the natural dark brown would completely blend in perfectly with the rest of my hair. This was really my own blunder. I could tell that my roots were a tad lighter than other naturally darker parts of my hair. This product did its job but I think that with my next attempt to cover my greys, I may need to do better color matching. Better yet, I may just get root touch up to get a more thicker consistency.
