Q: Hello, Can this product to be saved to re-use for the next time in between the salon visits? How long can it be stored from the first time opening? Thanks!
A: Yes. Absolutely. I use it for my eyebrows, and go through maybe five lots of eyebrow colouring before I run out. Just be sure to screw the top on the colour and liquid properly.
submitted byTracey - 6 years agoA: As long as you don't mix them. Pour an equal amount of both into the mixing tray, and apply. Any mixed leftover should be tossed. Cap the unmixed tubes and use at a later date. I get multiple uses out of one box.
submitted byDonna - 6 years agoA: No. At least thats what it says on the box.
submitted byAlways Happy - 8 years agoA: I have always gotten multiple uses from each box, despite what the box says. I use the product over 6 months or so and get about 3 uses out of each box. Just make sure the lids are on tight.

Q: It says to wait ten minutes then blow dry. Can I not wash my hair? Should I use it on dirty hair or washed hair?
A: Instructions say to rinse it out, you can use conditioner. I washed my hair (I wash daily) after 15 minutes and color was fine.
submitted byjinjin - 3 months agoA: Hi there, we recommend the hair be shampooed 24 hrs. prior to coloring so the hair is clean and dry. We don’t recommend shampooing immediately before coloring. If the hair has not been washed, it should be fine as long as there is no heavy build up of oils or styling products. But it’s best if the hair is clean and dry for best results. When the color is done processing, it should be rinsed out, not shampooed.

Q: Can this be used to give hi- lights?
A: Nice 'n Easy is all over permanent color. The results are gray coverage and natural-looking color with a blend of tones and highlights; which means your hair will have multi-dimension. If you are looking for custom highlights, I suggest you look at Clairol Frost and Tip Permanent Color Hair Highlighting Kit, which as everything you need to bold or subtle highlights, including gloves, mixing tray, spatula/hook and highlighting cap.

Q: Will this cover up my balding spot near my hairline? You can see my scalp because there is little hair there
A: Hi there. Nice'n Easy will cover grays which may give the appearance of denser hair but it will not cover bald spots.

A: Hi there, we do have lighter Root Touch Up shades, unfortunately they are not carried at Target. You can search online for a shade called “Extra Lift”, which may be what you're looking for.

Q: Which color is lighter, the 6G or the 6. One says light golden vrown an the other light brown!
A: Hi there. 6G and 6 are the same as far as depth of color is concerned. The difference is in the tone. 6G has a golden base which is a warmer tone so it will appear more golden or can make brown hair appear reddish. #6 has a neutral base. Neutral tones fall between gold and ash, so the end result won’t be as warm as a gold but not as drab/cool as an ash like 6A or 6C. Neutrals also tend to cover gray the best since the base is made up of a mix of both warm and cool tones.

Q: What color can I use that is lighter than 6A and still be in the ash tones to prevent a brassy look?
A: Hi there. The next lighter cool shade for Clairol would be 6.5A Lightest Cool Brown.

Q: I use an Ash blonde and Honey blonde for my hair color. Would Dark blonde be a good color for root touch up?
A: Dear Guest, I need to ask one more question to help determine the answer to your question. When you use the Ash or Honey blonde shade, does the description on the box say what the shade level is, such as Medium Ash Blonde or Dark Golden Blonde? If yes, choose the Root Touch Up blonde in that same shade level. If it doesn’t then I’d suggest going to a Medium Blonde to start with. The reason is, if a Dark Blonde is too dark, you won’t be able to lighten it. However, if a Medium Blonde is too light, you can always use the Dark Blonde the next time.
