Our Light Strips do offer light show features that filter through colors, and you can create your own custom light shows in the Cync app that will allow you to choose the colors of your choice. A: Hello Aubry - Thank you this excellent question! Our Cync Direct Connect Smart Light Strip 16 FT - Thin Style can be cut to reduce the length, but it cannot be reconnected once cut. Direct Connect Light Strips should also not be bent more than 90 degrees and should also not be creased to avoid damaging the Light Strip. Q: Why is it only 80 inches when it Cleary says 16 feet? Even in the specs it says lighted length is 16 feet long.

Pros; Bright, LED's run cool, dynamic light shows are nice, good colors. Super strong 3M adhisive back. cheap Cons; Barrel power plug. Basically one time use in the sense that you will not be able to reinstall this properly.

Great strip unfortunately the sticky backing is terrible. & Not enough mounting hardware provided either. Installation was complicated for it only to be down by the next day. 😣

this was HORRIBLE price is too much for quality. I put it up and it feel down 10 min later. does not stick whatsoever, wouldn’t even give it a 1 star if I could. DO NOT BUY.

Incredibly difficult to install. Not enough mounting hardware supplied and the adhesive didn’t work. And if you tighten the strip too much the light will change to a random color. Awful.

My son bought this for his bedroom to put on his ceiling. Easy enough design, nail some of the clips to the ceiling and peel off the 3M tape backing and stick to ceiling. It all fell down within an hour. They give a small cloth to wipe down the surface first, but that does nothing. the stickiness was not great and now I don't know what to do to get this to stay on his ceiling.

I bought numerous set past few years. Recently , I purchased two more boxes. My older set are 6 pin, these newer are 4 pin. Nowhere does it say anything about that, so now I have extention set that can't connect to anything. Same description. What a joke.

The strip does not stick to the wall at all. It is very hard to bend. Super expensive for a short roll. Better off getting cheap lights from Amazon.

I bought this to go behind my TV, but you don't find out until you've been buy it that you cannot bend it. Also it says to only cut on dotted lines but there are no dotted lines. The installation instructions are practically non-existent and they do not match the product. It was very difficult getting it to connect the device but once it was finally set up we were very happy. Anybody it should not take this long to set up a LED light strip and we have a smart home with many other smart devices. This one was a hassle. Extremely overpriced for what it is.

Just purchased them a couple hours ago, came home and installed them, and immediately turned on some music and put them on music mode. Love them! Hopefully they last a long time. And the remote is easy to use and the lights have a sticky backing that made installation very easy.

These did not stick to the wall at all. I dusted and wiped everything and used the alcohol wipe too. The cheap Amazon ones worked better and had an easier set up.

Can't get it hooked up to wifi. The tape is not adhering to the wall. Not very happy there's no QR code on the instructions. Every you tube wants to skip the phone set up part.

This item is a 16” version, which is a different construction compared to the 80” version shown in the photos. The description does say 16ft, but my bad, I had looked at the info in the photo. We were trying to match to previous ones we’ve purchased, but the 16ft version has a different coating over the LED strip which refracts the light differently so the two versions don’t match . . .

BEST light strips. I put them behind my bed and use them for low light at night. If I turn the brightness all the way up in the app, it looks like daytime in there. Love that it’s adjustable from my phone. No problems with the app and it works much better compared to the app I have for a different light strip brand behind the tv. Well worth the money

These lights are a headache. It seems like everything now and days require separate apps and parts to get it to function properly. If you’re just using one strip & only want a white light it would be fine. It doesn’t bend easily, the adhesive may stick to glass decently, but any other materials/foundation proved to be horrible. It doesn’t stay put with the clips it came with either. ALSO, if you bought them for the 100’s of colors it advertised- please be advised they’re only available via app. There’s no control or feature on the actual strip to control/change that. AND if you bought it to “easily” connect to others- you’ll need to purchase a 7pin connector (which wasn’t that easy to find). Overall.. I could have bought a much cheaper item with more range, flexibility & MUCH less hurdles to jump through.
