I’ve dyed my hair with different brands. This “vegan” formula is the only one that made my head feel WEIRD for hours until I went back home, washed again and applied coconut oil all over my scalp. I believe it left a chemical burn. My hair was heavily dried out. It came with a nourishing, natural ingredient hair mask, that did absolutely nothing. Will definitely never use or refer this brand again. Color didn’t come out right, and already washed out after 2 weeks.

The only 'positive' thing I can say about Dark & Lovely Fade Resist Permanent Hair Color, 378 Honey Blonde is that it left no visible mess on my very white tub. The solution never changed from white. It had zero impact on my white and zero impact on my brown. It should not be on the shelves. It does not color hair. Emperor's new clothes

I wanted to love this but this was a slight miss for me. My hair is naturally a soft brown and I purchased 378-Honey Blonde. It BARELY tinted my hair and I left it in for 30mins. Kinda disappointed - the box color result images are way off. Will possibly use a lighter color but of this line of go back to using L’Oréal Féria.

Tried it tonight, it lightened my medium brown hair with red tones to a barely lighter version of the same. The bleach in this product is almost nonexistent. I felt a little tingle it smelled nice enough but that was it. Also the conditioner it comes with is also not very good. I would have loved to get this color, I was putting a lot of faith in this brand.

I absolutely loveeeeee this color! It came out more like a magenta and it looks stunning in my opinion. I’m sure when I re apply it in another 8 weeks, the pink will even be more noticeable. I’ve used dark and lovely on my hair for years and I recommend keeping the dye on longer than 30 mins. The color will last longer. After about 5/6 weeks it will turn into a copper like color. Still pretty.

I usually get the lightest blonde then out a rinse over to get the cookie I want. I decided to use Honey Blonde and it is a complete upset. Started from the back and work my to the front. My front edges took fine but my new growth slightly got light(I have dark brown hair). Gray coverage some but not the ones I was hoping for. Oh and it was super runny. Mind you I put the color on them prior to starting because I did not want to be disappointed. In the end I'll go back to the lightest blonde. This was a waste of money for two boxes.

We know how disappointing it can be to look forward to a new application of color only to find that your results are not what you expected. Gray hair is sometimes resistant to color. For best coverage, begin your application on the grayest areas and leave the product on your gray hair longer. If you have tried the extended timing and still need better gray coverage, we suggest using one shade darker. If your hair is over 50% gray and you have been coloring for a number of years, the amount of gray you now have may have increased over time. If you find that you are not getting the same color results as in previous color applications, you may need to use one shade darker to compensate for the lack of pigment in your hair.

We used 2 boxes of the violet color on my daughter’s hair. It turned pink. Not even close to purple.

At first my hair seemed that it didn’t look much different but after the initial wash, the color seemed to lighten up slightly. Definitely recommend a bleach lightener prior if you’re lifting from hair darker than mine because I did leave the color on slightly longer than the recommended time. Huge positive is the lack of damage and the price point, it’s worth a shot!

If I could rate this product 0 stars I would!! I bought the 396 shade (luminous blonde) and dyed my hair for it just to only appear on the roots!! This product was horrible and extremely drying to my hair. The outcome came out RIDICULOUS. The "blonde" came out many different shades including a hideous ginger and ugly yellow color.. Now I have this ridiculous spot or patch on my hair. This is what we call hot roots. I have done every step the right way, and this product just completely failed me. I'm going to assume this happened because I have previously dyed my hair with black henna but it was MONTHS ago..
