Q: where are the mounting holes located on the mounting bracket and how many are there?

A: The mounting holes are located behind the bracket and accommodate 16-inch center wall studs. There are 12 holes. Please email our Customer Service Dept. at lhicustomerservice@lewishymaninc.com and we can send a copy of the installation instructions.

Purchased 4 of these to go in my butlers pantry for additional well needed storage. They were easy for my husband to install but he’s a handy pro. They’re very sturdy and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy more if needed rides.
Shelf brackets are junk

Hardware does not properly support the shelf. Enclosed brackets do not hold shelf at a 90° angle no matter what you do. I had to go to Lowe’s and buy different shelf brackets and spent $60 on those.

Needs more stud holes

Super cute but wish the bracket had more holes. The studs in our wall are every 16in and with where the center of our room is, the shelf wasn’t able to hang center. We shifted our bed and fudged it a bit to make it work, but still annoying.

Love everything about the shelf except the holes they have pre drilled for mounting it. It’s supposed to be placed on at least 2 studs. Studs are typically 16 inches apart. Yet they have an exact empty space that is 16 inches apart so if you’re wanting to mount it in a particular spot, you can’t. So we had to drill our own holes through it and use all anchors in the others. Otherwise the looks of the shelf is perfect.

I wanted to love this and there isn’t anything wrong with it. I just didn’t care for the color personally. I did get this same item in another color and the product is well worth the money and is easy to install.
