It's not heavy - more gel like and somewhat cooling when you put it on. I highly recommend trying this moisturizer, especially people with sensitive skin. Also recommend the cleanser.

I used to use the Neutrogena hydro boost gel moisturizer, but I had trouble finding a substitute after they changed the formula. This is even better than my old HG moisturizer. It is fragrance free, which is great for my sensitive skin, but has a subtle oat scent that I’ve grown to love.

I have to say that this moisturizer has become my new go to, and has replaced more expensive brands because of how effective it is! It soothes my skin and leaves it looking and feeling moisturized, even during the harsh Canadian winters.
